Nestled discreetly within a beach-side residential suburb, Yurt Hideaway offers an enchanting space that is often described as a private oasis. The space is fully fenced and surrounded by a mature garden, giving it a secluded feel.

The spacious six-metre yurt, with its all-natural craftsmanship, is modern, open, and comfortably inviting—encouraging you to truly relax and unwind.

Step out to the fully covered alfresco dining area and relax surrounded by the lush garden. The outdoor area includes lighting to allow you to spend time outside after nightfall.

Your bathroom is just a few steps from the yurt along a paved path (not ensuite) . It is stocked with deluxe towels and blissful, local products, that invite you to take time to pamper yourself.

BALANCE OF LUXE & SIMPLICITY
The space offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury. To encourage a true escape from daily life, we’ve intentionally left out the TV. That said, reliable Wi-Fi is available, so you can still stream a movie or unwind with your favourite playlist.

Tucked away in the residential suburb of Tootgarook (right next to Rye), this private, fully fenced space is perfectly positioned in the heart of the southern Mornington Peninsula.

For those keen on coastal adventures, the bay is just moments from your door. Enjoy dolphin swims, stand-up paddleboarding, scenic coastal walks, or simply relax by the water.

It’s just 800 metres to the Tootgarook Foreshore, where the shallow, sparkling waters of Capel Sound await. Take a refreshing dip or enjoy a peaceful stroll along the beach.

The yurt is a traditional structure built from natural materials. On arrival, you may notice the natural, earthy scent of the felt (wool) that insulates the walls.
If you have strong allergies, we recommend checking with us before booking, as the yurt may not be suitable.

Discreetly hidden away in the suburbia of iconic peninsula beach shacks, the yurt space is accessed via a gate with code access. The space is fully fenced and private. All amenities are your own, with no shared spaces.

There is free street parking out the front of the property.

Walk up the drive to access Yurt Hideaway’s private entrance and the enchanting space surrounded by garden.

Maximum of 2 people & 1 car at all times.
All guests must adhere to the Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Code of Conduct.

The property is just 800m walk to the stunning beach of the bay (Capel Sound Foreshore).

The Rye back beaches and the Peninsula Hot Springs are just 5 mins drive.

Red Hill, known for it's food & wineries, is a 20 minute drive.

It is a 2 minute drive to Rye. Here you'll find all the essentials, including the supermarket, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants and shops.

I spend too much time: in my office
I have always loved yurts, and it is still my dream to live in one full time! It is a very special experience to be in a 100% natural round structure. We to make each guest feel spoilt during their stay. We provide lots of extra touches to make staying at the yurt above and beyond a usual accommodation experience. My partner and I are yoga instructors and offer private yoga classes for guests, ask me if you’d like more info.
