We had a great stay in Paris and in Heide's place. A small apartment (usual for Paris) it was still big enough for a smal family with a baby, though not particularly baby proof - though we managed just fine. while not in the centre or hill area of montmartre it was close to 2 met…

Dear Carmen, Thanks for your positive notes on your stay, I'm happy that you had a good time :-) I just need to add, that the apartment is being advertised as not being suited for children or babies who crawl around. I had made you aware of this when you reserved. Yes, Paris is kind of a pain in the neck for people with strollers. Curiously, the metro system has never been set up for them nor handicapped people! The buses are cool to ride in, but takes definitely much longer to get to your destination. This is why you need to count around 30 min to Châtelet instead of 10 min by Metro.
Heidi's apartment offered everything one would need for a comfortable stay, all you needed was there, supremely comfortable bed, good view from flower boxed window, quietness at night, ease of transport options, lots of shops around. It has everything one needs for an enjoyable…
Heide's apartment was exactly as she described & the directions she gave to get there were accurate & most helpful. Heide also timely replied to all our queries. The Concierge too was very helpful. Heide provided a Welcome Book including a (Hidden by Airbnb) map of the surroundi…

Thanks for the recommendation. My house rules are exactly two: - please don't smoke inside the apartment - please wear houseslippers inside, instead of leaving street shoes on (Paris is not the always the cleanest on the streets and stepping accidentally into dog poo happens to the best of us) I find it quite normal to expect from my guests to leave the apartment at the end of their stay tidied up, dishes put away and the garbage taken out. That's all I'm asking for, and this is what I do myself when I have stayed in somebody's place. The actual cleaning afterwards concerns cleaning bathroom and kitchen, dusting and wiping floors, cleaning windows, making up the bed, washing& drying linens and arranging everything beautifully for the next guest. Just like you found the apartment in pristine and cared for condition. This takes a little time. Paris hourly cleaning fees are high, just like in any other capital of the world.
I'm a professional classical musician touring frequently all over the world. While being away I'm renting out my home in Paris. Since I myself need to stay in rental apartments and hotels during my touring I have a pretty good idea of what I like in a place in order to be…
