Lovely little cottage. Nice to have a comfortable bed for the night and be able to cook a dinner there as everything provided. Shame the outdoor area on the back has been let go. Though still enjoyed sitting out there with a coffee under the shade of the verandah.

Kim was quick to respond to emails and the house manager Lynn was very pleasant on the phone. I didn't read the description properly and got a lovely surprise when I arrived to bread, milk, eggs, bacon and some other foods! The cottage is lovely and has a very homely feel. Perfect for 4 people. We wandered up to Lyndoch town for some wine tasting and dinner which was extremely handy. We would visit again!

Had a great stay at Daisy Randall. Adorable and comfortable cottage with easy access to the Barossa region. Can't wait to come back and stay again.

The cottage was really well located, despite being an old cottage it had everything you could want and combined the old and the new beautifully inside. The addition of all the makings for breakfast was a really nice touch and the wild garden out the back is beautiful on a warm night. Hosts were friendly and helpful as well, would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage a lot. Very close to loads of wineries, and very close to restaurants and pubs in Lyndoch. Kim is a very good host. Very easy to deal with and very responsive.

Kim User Profile

Kim (together with his wife Malinda) founded the first cooperative of BnB cottage operators in the Barossa Valley back in 1997. While there are about 60 operators working with them through The Booking Service, a select few form the cottages4u collective. These are properties where the owners take a "back seat" role and Kim and Malinda, together with very capable local managers, present some of the best value Barossa accommodation.
Kim and Malinda have over 20 years experience in the BnB industry.
Now our two sons have grown up, had a good education and achieved great jobs, we love to travel ourselves and spend a lot of time in Asia - Viet Nam is our favourite!
