The space
Originally used as the Barracks for train drivers. Featuring the original Barracks sleeping 44 people in a variety of double beds, twin beds, and sturdy Barrack Bunks. All rooms share a Barracks his and hers shower block (recently renovated), with the exception of the Station Master bedroom which has its own en-suite. It features a large air conditioned hall perfect for birthdays, anniversaries and special events such as weddings. It also has a Dining room that seats 36 people. Outside the hall, features a large entertaining Railway Platform with a restored First Class Southern Aurora carriage famous for its exclusive Sydney to Melbourne overnight service that started back in 1962. There is also a picturesque gazebo. This is an exciting place for train enthusiasts, family and friends, or school groups wanting to stay in a large group. Situated across the road from the Goulburn Railway Museum and Roundhouse, down the road from Wakefield Park racetrack, and 2 kilometers from Goulburn city.
Guest access
Fully equipped country-style kitchen and a dining room catering for 36 guests. Outdoor tables and chairs are also available for al-fresco dining on the platform. The hall could also be used to hold medium sized events for approx 70-100 people such as weddings or family gatherings. We also accommodate school groups or Car Clubs. We provide unlimited NBN broadband connected to an AppleTV and data projector and web connected Sonos sound system.

You will find all of my prized Railway possessions, as well as an historic First Class Carriage from the famous Southern Aurora. Famous for the overnight service between Melbourne and Sydney established in 1962.
