We so enjoyed staying at Darren's perfectly lovely cottage. It was sparklingly clean, warm and cosy and very well equipped. Wifi and Netflix were a hit with my daughter. The location was right in the centre of the Peak District and the beds were super comfy so we enjoyed good nights sleep and great days out. Although the cottage is in a village location it is near to shops and places to eat out. The smart kitchen and dining area provide comfort if you decide to eat in. Darren also very kindly posted a forgotten phone which helped restore my faith in humanity. We would definitely return. This cottage is a gem. Thanks Darren for a lovely little holiday.

House was lovely. A real Home from home. Great comfy double bed. Didn't use the twin room. All modern amenities. Let safe round the back was hard to use as numbers in the dark were difficult to read even with a head torch. It's a small hamlet and the cottage isn't the easiest to identify in the dark but well worth it when you do. The railway line is quite close and was noisy in the early hours with a window open. However, we loved the place and would use again. I highly recommend it.

Great house - we only stayed one night but it was perfect for what we wanted (we were rock climbing nearby). Clean, well stocked, comfortable etc. helpful notes left around the house. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We had a lovely stay here. There was everything you could need for a cosy stay in a beautiful area of the Peak District. Darren was a great host and communicated everything we'd need to know. Home was very tidy and there were helpful notes for using the telly, heating, etc. Really recommend!

A wonderful, neat and cosy home providing great access to both the Peak District and Cheshire. Lots to do within a 40 minute radius with this perfect home to return to. We found it suited our needs as a young family with a three yearold and another on the way.
