Quite and serene place with beautiful setting and a special garden with plenty of animal characters. You would leave Woolland House feeling so very rested. Beautiful views.

Thank you very much Patty and Gordon! We enjoyed our two nights staying very much! Patty was very helpful on the phone when we needed a little bit direction, and Gordon welcomed us at the house, showed us all the facilities. The flat was amazing, very big space with amazing view from the windows. All the house supplies are clean and comfortable. The location is great too, it took us about 40mins driving down to Weymouth, and 30mins to visit Monkey World! We would definitely hope to be able to come back and maybe also invite family and friends!

What a fabulous find!! Patty kept in communication when needed and Gordon offered us a warm and friendly welcome on our arrival. He showed us around the accommodation and then left us to it! Upstairs, is the actual living space. Kitchen: large, all you would need for short or long self-catering stay. We would recommend you bring supplies as no convenience store nearby. We didn't need to for our short stay as we were out all day. Dining chairs & small round table. Dishwasher was not working for our visit however it was not needed! Items for washing up and plenty of crisp tea-towels were in abundance. Breakfast items were provided of high quality and complimentary bottle of fizz in the tabletop fridge - lovely touch! Lounge: really homely, comfortable and spacious. 2x large cosy sofas to cuddle up onto, TV on stand, music speakers and fast internet for the techy-bits was great. Massive room with fireplace/hearth as a feature, we used our candles which added to the relaxing, homely feel! At the end of our full day's exploring (walking, sight seeing, climbing, driving and more walking!!!) to come home was pure joy in this wonderful calm environment. Bedroom: Wow -bed was mega comfortable and a firm mattress secured a fabulous nights sleep. The crisp cotton bed linen was pure luxury..we didn't want to leave the bed to tell the truth!! To open the light and airy curtains each morning was a joy..the sprawling country grounds through every window. En-suite bathroom: Well - more luxury. Roll-top bath was heaven to lay in ( a tad on the small side) and the shower a little difficult to use, if you didn't want to wet the floor..!! But again, quality materials used made you feel very special. We so highly recommend this accommodation for a reasonably priced stay. We loved our time here.

The garden view apartment is very spacious and has stunning views over the estate which includes a small lake and fields. We explored the grounds as well as going on walks in the local area. The apartment is clean and has everything one could need. Patty and her husband we great hosts and made sure we were comfortable. We very much appreciated the eggs, bread, jam and champagne they left us too!

We loved staying at Patty and Gordon's. Really the house and the grounds are extraordinary. The gardens are beautiful, there's a zip wire, horses, and if you're lucky weather-wise - a swimming pool. The pictures don't do it justice, we really weren't expecting anything as spectacular. They are a lovely couple, who have obviously put so much thought it their home and are pleased to share it. We can't wait to go back.

We stayed in the flat, top floor, where the views over the grounds and beyond are stunning. We were encouraged to enjoy the gardens, which are full of secret places. It was peaceful to be away from it all, but with fab wifi when needed. Would most certainly visit again.
