Renovated traditional detached stone and wood chalet with WiFi internet situated in the quiet Savoyard mountain village of Montagny Chef Lieu with stunning panoramic views and facing the alpine resorts of Courchevel and Méribel. Sleeps 4-5 (5th bed is a trundle bed). Vehicle is essential.

The space
Traditional renovated Savoyard chalet constructed of local materials with balconies for each bedroom including a large balcony overlooking the mountains with stunning panoramic views of the Courchevel and Meribel valleys. Montagny is situated in a quiet village within 20 minutes drive from Courchevel and 30 minutes drive from Meribel. A vehicle is essential.

Guest access
The chalet is accessed via a short staircase which leads to the main entrance. On the ground floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom (with internal laundry).

Bedroom 1 is a double bed with built in robe and two balconies.

Bedroom 2 has bunk beds (sturdy solid wood / comfortable with good mattresses) and a third trundle bed (good mattress). This bedroom has a built in robe and has a balcony. Bedroom 2 has limited space when sleeping 3 people.

A staircase leads to the upper level consisting of an open plan living area with kitchen and dining area. Enjoy the panoramic views from within, or relax on the balcony. There is a table and chairs on the main balcony. Eat, drink and relax and enjoy the spectacular views.

Other things to note
Please consider your requirements in respect of very young or elderly guests. The chalet has balconies (some very high) and stairs. We have a barrier to block the staircase area (for very young children).

Large communal rubbish bins are located in the village and a short walk from the house.

The village has a shop / restaurant, churches, Mairie (Mayors office) and school. Rest assured, you will be staying in a part of the Alps (the Tarentaise region) which has not changed for hundreds of years. If you a seeking a great holiday in the mountains in a peaceful environment, you will be guaranteed a wonderful stay at Chez Monty.

There are lots of nice walks in the area and plenty of alpine activities depending on the season.
