The couple's cabin is one of three close-knit pavilions at The Bower, rustique rainforest retreat; a tiny hamlet only 10 minutes drive from Maleny and 20 minutes to Woodfordia. Relax in front of the warm wood burning fireplace, enjoy the abundant bird life from your private deck, soak in the antique clawfoot bath, and lose yourself in the celestial clerestory views. Includes: light breakfast*, free WiFi, Foxtel, quirky chef's kitchen, romantic touches, quality linen, firewood** and bush pool*.

The space
* Enjoy a light continental breakfast on the first morning of your stay. Breakfast supplies (tea, plunger and espresso coffee, milk, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola, and toast with assorted jams etc.) are in your pavilion for you to enjoy at your leisure, and are included in the booking price. A food stocking service is also available.
* Pool is shared between the property owners and other guests.
* Please note, shower is above the antique claw foot bath.
* Firewood and kindling supplied only during cooler months (mid May through to end of August): enough for a nice fire each night. The nightly rate during this period increases to reflect this inclusion. If you wish to have the fire going all day, feel free to BYO extra wood.

Please, no bridal preparation/party bookings. We have limited parking. Florists, makeup artists, photographers, bridesmaids etc all bring their own cars and it places too much stress on the property and other guests enjoying the space who may not be associated with the wedding party.

I am a Maleny local, 4th gen. I’ve travelled the world, but have come back to what I think is the most beautiful place, Maleny - home. I have been in hospitality and retail most of my working life, starting straight out of school when I spent my ‘gap’ year training in a Swiss Pension (Hotel). I also helped manage my parents’ Motel and luxury cabins. The Bower is our home: my husband and I have raised our children on this property. Instead of doing the traditional add on a room, we added on a pavilion/ cabin as our family grew. Now that our kids have flown, we’re offering our cabins to anyone wanting to experience a quite, peaceful getaway in the forest. Although it may feel like we are remote, we are just over 10 minutes from Maleny, and all that the area offers. Enjoy...
