We are a friendly pair and love nothing more than sharing our passion with others. We also recognise that while some guests like more communication and interaction, some prefer complete privacy and more limited interaction with hosts. We are very easy going and are happy to answer any questions you may have during your stay.

Other things to note

Your own transport is required to access the property as our location is rural. Plenty of authentic country sounds – including the farm rooster and girls. There is also, Heston, the farm border collie dog who is very friendly. Lola, Lily & Donald Wessex Saddle back pigs and the flock of Aylesbury ducks who often wander up to the house especially for their morning feed.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Weston farm. The accommodation was even better than the pictures. We were lucky to stay while the Peonies were in bloom - absolutely the most beautiful flowers. Also glad we bought some Weston Farm paprika, it’s delicious.

We had an amazing stay at Weston's Farm! Belinda and Richard were wonderfully welcoming hosts and the cottage was comfortable and beautifully appointed. A great kitchen to cook in and an excellent deep bath to enjoy a glass of wine in after a long day exploring the Derwent Valley. It was fascinating being on a working farm with star attraction Heston the gorgeous Collie, as well as the pigs, sheep, ducks and chooks - so fun!

We spent 2 nights at Weston Farm and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The accommodation is modern, clean and everything you need is there. Being a working farm you get beautiful sounds of nature. The ducks and dog are delightful. The locallity is as close as you can get to Hobart and be in the country. Easy drive in every direction from here. We were lucky enough to get a farm tour with Richard and his warmth and knowledge about the beautiful Peony flower was a dream come true. Recommend Weston farm very highly. We also went to their Cafe called Pigeon Hole Cafe which all there produce goes to and had an outstanding breakfast. If we are ever traveling back in Tassie we know where to stay and eat. Thanks Weston Farm.

High quality, picturesque and extremely comfortable accommodation, very good value for money. Richard looked after us and was extremely friendly and helpful. The heating was on when we arrived and we appreciated the oh so delicious loaf of Pigeon Hole Bakers sourdough and fresh coffee. Tip, being some cheese and wine and perhaps something to cook if you don't want to go out for dinner. We'll definitely be back.

The guest apartment at Weston Farm strikes a perfect balance between being beautifully decorated, and making you feel warm and cosy as soon as you arrive. It's a quiet and relaxing spot, while still only a short drive from Hobart. Lovely people, funny animals, and a great dinner recommendation too!

Weston Farm offers a rare opportunity to see the paddock-to-plate philosophy in practice. We particularly enjoyed being greeted by Heston Weston, a gregarious border collie. Being treated to an impromptu farm tour, including an opportunity to feed the resident ducks, was also a bonus. In terms of the accommodation, it has all the comforts of home -- although at home we can't look out on an olive grove as the sun goes down. We greatly enjoyed a our short rural break, less than half an hour from Hobart's city centre.

Wife and mother of twins. Happy, easy going and enjoys everything about farm life. Food lover, bee keeper, peony farmer, olive harvester, cafe owner, and enjoys cooking, pickling and preserving, and the odd glass of wine!
