If you want peace and to escape the crowds than this is no better place to do it. Your miles from anywhere and yet close to amazing places to see. Recommend a walk along the canal at Ballinrobe, a day trip to Westport, Delphi and Connemara. And of course walks around Moorehall a…

We had a great stay at the lakeside cottage and enjoyed the house and countryside very much. Patrick was a very friendly host and took care of all we needed. Will definitely come back !

The stay was wonderful! The cottage is really nice and cosy! We enjoyed it there so much. The open fireplace is amazing and Peter taught us how to use it properly. The lake right beside the door is just breath taking. Thanks again for everything! Ante and Janis

My family is from this area originally, the house was built by my grandfather in the 60's as a holiday house that he would rent to fishermen. I am the third generation to be looking after and renting the house. I live in Westport with my partner and our two small children.
