Private? VERY! Cozy? YOU BET! Big groups? OK! Cozy & rustic cabin at the edge of the Sequoia National Forest- a perfect place to disconnect. Knotty Pine interior, wood burning fireplace, located less than 2 miles to downtown (Breweries, Kern River & Lake, Fishing/ Boating/Hiking, Antiquing.) With a very private feel & plenty of Mountain View’s, my cabin is the perfect place to escape with friends & family! Enjoy my place like it was your own *with respect to my neighbors*.

The space
Fresh snow on the mountains and flowing rivers this 2021 season are something you are NOT going to want to miss this year!!

My cabin has everything you need after a long day of fun and adventure or simply relaxing in beautiful mother nature. Bungalow style layout and open floor plan provide you with very cozy vibes while on vacation. High ceilings, big windows and eclectic furnishings give you all the cozy cabin ~feels~ with a few modern amenities.

When you are amercing yourself in nature and all it’s beauty, you are going to need a fully authentic home to stay in and you have found that with my rustic cabin in Kernville! No WiFi around here, as this is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature and all it has to offer. Sequoia National Forest is the Land of Many Uses. Kernville is the absolute PERFECT weekend getaway from Los Angeles if you feel like venturing on a scenic 3 hour drive to escape the busy city.

Great River and Lake Isabella access is only a 5-10 minute drive from my place. The Sequoia National Forest is only a short and breathtaking 45 minute drive away for your family and friends who want to explore all the endless opportunities the outdoors has to offer.

Beautiful weather in Kernville every season of the year!

Ski, Sled and Snowboard at Alta Sierra Ski Resort! Only a 30 minute drive from the cabin with great views of the Kern River Valley, as you gain 5,000 feet in elevation to Shirley Peak.

Lover of all things outdoors and thrilled to share my house in the woods with you all. Kernville is the best little town outside of the Sequoia National Forest and only a 3 hour drive from LA. Traveling is a passion of mine that helps me grow in every aspect of life, so I believe exploration is necessary by any means. As an aspiring teacher, I love meeting new people and learning from one another by sharing experiences.

During your stay

We do own the property next door and are sometimes there during your stay with our dog. You have the entire place to yourself and should treat it as such! :) We do not bother you and are only there in case of emergencies. I'm not always in town, but I am always near my phone and do my best to reply promptly within the hour for your convenience. I have a wonderful co-host near by if you are in need of any direct assistance in a hurry.
