Remarkable interior design made the stay greatly pleasurable as well as the convenience anywhere we go! Especially bathroom (soft towels, shampoo, shower gel, etc.) and fully facilitated outdoor kitchen. The very short walk distance to the beach. Overall AMAZING!

Gorgeous accommodation, welcoming hosts and sunrise over the beach... just perfection. The room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated with treasures from Pete & Pix's many travels. Pete & Pix were the warmest hosts imaginable and made us feel so welcome. By the end they were more friends than hosts, and we can't wait to come again!

Peter and Pix were wonderful hosts, warm and hospitable. They were able to recommend a great tour of the Daintree River and got us a discount. Their place is beautifully located with a big open back yard leading to the beach. It was clean and well presented. Great value for money. We loved the outdoor kitchen. One down side was that there was some noise early in the morning from about 5-7am. Footsteps and doors closing upstairs were quite noticeable downstairs and woke us all up, so if you're a light sleeper, pack earplugs. As they were such great hosts we were willing to forgive them, as all in all it was a wonderful place to stay and great value for money.

Response from Peter And Pix:
Thanks for your comments Kylie - I am guilty as charged. On the day I was preparing for an early tour, must indeed have been around 4.30 - 5am. Half asleep I guess and I wasn't conscious of any noise being generated. It amused me your comment - " I'm willing to forgive them" - had to grin - now that is a blessing! Please thank your Mum for her comments much appreciated. We enjoyed your stay, hope to see you again- ear plugs and all. -Take care, Pete

We immidiatly felt welcome at our stay with Pete and Pix. The accomodation is great, loved the outdoor kitchen/area. Location is great, directly next to the beach. The only noice you will here at night is the noice you're making yourself! Can absolutely recommend this venue.

Pix and Pete were recently married on their favorite beach (2nd time around for each)
Pix is from England, London where she worked in Interlectual Law. Loves socializing and is much travelled both in Europe and further afield in Africa, South America and India.
Pete is from Africa where he worked in anti-poaching activities followed by Professional Hunting (photography) in the Safari industry.
Latterly he moved to Papau New Guinea where he was involved in opening up Tea and Coffee plantations in the highlands and Copra and Cocoa on the coast.
The final move was to North Queensland where he established a tour company and now runs tours to both the Daintree and the Outback. (Daintree Specialised Tours)
Both Pix and Pete spend as much time in the bush as possible, loving every moment.
