Peter and Pix are kind knowledgeable and generous hosts. Great location. Clean comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Coconut Bay on the road to Cape Tribulation is worth seeking out and enjoying.

Peter and Pix are warm people who make you feel very welcome in their beautiful decorated apartment. It's clean and tidy and in the kitchen there's everything you need, and more. You can hear the sea which is in their backyard. Definitely would come back again!

My family stayed at Peter And Pix’s studio for a couple of days at the end of our vacation in Australia. It was a perfect place to relax. Not having to drive anywhere to access the beach made it easy, we enjoyed meeting sunrise and taking long walks along the beach. They have a fully stocked outdoors kitchen. Note, that the nearest large grocery store is Woolworths 15mins drive away, so make sure to shop before you come if you plan to be cooking. Peter and Pix were great hosts. They even helped us to open the coconuts we got from the beach :) Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

This is a fabulous Airbnb with friendly, kind hosts in a classically Australian location - steps away from a calm & quiet sandy beach. If you want a few days (or more) chilling out within shouting distance of Cairns then don't hesitate - comfy beds, amazing & unique decoration, great outdoors kitchen & eating space make this a really easy & comfortable place to stay.

Peter And Pix User Profile

Pix and Pete were recently married on their favorite beach (2nd time around for each)
Pix is from England, London where she worked in Interlectual Law. Loves socializing and is much travelled both in Europe and further afield in Africa, South America and India.
Pete is from Africa where he worked in anti-poaching activities followed by Professional Hunting (photography) in the Safari industry.
Latterly he moved to Papau New Guinea where he was involved in opening up Tea and Coffee plantations in the highlands and Copra and Cocoa on the coast.
The final move was to North Queensland where he established a tour company and now runs tours to both the Daintree and the Outback. (Daintree Specialised Tours)
Both Pix and Pete spend as much time in the bush as possible, loving every moment.
