Continental breakfast available anytime up to 9am @ £3 and English breakfast is available 07.30-08.30 by pre-ordering at check-in @ £8 per person. This must be booked and paid for at the guest house
Pets allowed free of charge by pre-arrangement only.
Holiday car parking is available @ £4 per day which includes one-way transfer to Gatwick Airport. The return will cost £6 using local taxis.
There is one king size bed that sleeps 2, one single bed that sleeps 1 and a full size bunk bed that sleeps 2, making 5 in total. There is an en-suite shower room, full hot beverage tray with a tin of biscuits to compliment the hot drinks. There is a Digital TV. Free Wi-Fi.
The room is on the first floor - up one flight of stairs and right around to the last door on the front of the house.
The Breakfast room is available if you book breakfast - there is an extra charge for this payable on arrival. Self-service Continental breakfast is £3 per person and Full English breakfast is available 07.30 - 08.30 by pre-booking only.
Interaction with guests
Check-in is from 16.00-22.00 only; check-out is anytime until 10am. As I run the guest house on my own, I am unavailable 10.00 -16.00 as this is the only time I have to walk my dogs or go shopping for groceries, etc 7 days a week!
Other things to note
We are 5 minutes by car fromGatwick Airport in the town of Horley, but not under the flight path! Church Road is off the Main A23 road heading North towards Redhill.

If you have requested a late arrival(this must be agree 48 hours prior to arrival; otherwise latest check-in is 22.00.

Otherwise Gatwick taxis operate from outside the terminal buildings. They are more expensive as they have to pay to operate out of Gatwick.
When you get to Rosemead Guest House you will need to follow the instructions below to get into the house and to your room:
To the left of the front door is little black box. Open the silver shutter door to reveal 4 dials. Enter the combination - 2458, now PRESS AND HOLD DOWN the BLACK button (on the left of the combination dials), at the same time pull the grey shutter towards you; inside is a YALE KEY TO UNLOCK the front door. PUT THE KEYS BACKOUTSIDE IN THE BOX NOT INSIDE THE HOUSE SO THAT THEY ARE READY FOR THE NEXT PERSON TO USE; THE BOX INSIDE IS FOR ROOM KEYS ONLY!!! Set the combination dials back to 0000 to lock. Close the shutter door.
Your room number is Room Number 3 - upstairs and around towards the front of the house, the last door you come to is Room 3. The door is closed but not locked and the key will be in the room. Have a pleasant stay.

Having travelled around the world I have met many people and stayed in all sorts of accommodation including tents in the Okovango and huts in Nepal!
My guest house was given a Silver Award by the Tourist Board whilst I was a member. I am no longer a member because it costs nearly £700 a year to be a member! So The rooms are well stocked with everything that a traveller needs including toiletries and a full beverage tray with a selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate with a selection of biscuits to compliment the hot drink!
