Bright and cosy space in the heart of Collingwood, close to trams, alternative shops, bars and Melbourne's best cafes. This cute apartment is a short walk to arty Fitzroy, a quick tram ride into the city and a cheap Uber to Little Vietnam on Victoria street in Richmond.
The apartment is light-filled and decorated with plants, art and cosy vibes with a well-kitted out kitchen, cosy lounge area and study nook. The room is spacious and comes with heating and lots of cupboard space.
You'll have access to a big secure car space downstairs and a little laundry nook in the bathroom that boasts a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, electric oven and gas stove cooktop and comes stocked with lots of cooking gear as well as a bunch of spices and sauces, but Smith street is busting with amazing food so why cook?
Other things to note
There are a few things to note about staying in this older apartment: the air-conditioning unit doesn't work unfortunately and there is air in the pipes causing a water hammer in the shower. Please see house manual on how to deal with these minor inconveniences.
- No parties, events or extra guests. I have very close neighbours, so noise needs to be kept at a minimum.
- Smoking outside on the patio please, with the patio door closed. No smoking inside.
- High heels need to be taken off, but sneakers are fine on the wooden floorboards.
