The cabin is situated on 2 acres in a remote part of the Tasmanian wilderness, is close to Leven Canyon Nth West Tasmania. You’ll enjoy the ambiance, fresh air, spring fed water, native wildlife, 480 mt above sea level, sustainable lifestyle in the remote Loongana Tasmanian valley. Its a place good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Great for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Food and beverages should be brought with you as its a 100 klm round trip to Ulverstone.

The space
A stay at my place is ideal for anyone seeking to experience an organic sustainable life style in the Nth West Tasmanian wilderness. The cabin is old and gradually being renovated embracing sustainable off the grid living with solar & micro hydro power, wood fired heating and gravity fed water from the creek. If you are feeling only a little outdoorsy I can tempt with a wood fired outdoor bath tub and a loo visit amongst the man ferns with a view of Black Bluff.
If you enjoy the outdoors there are some great walks in the area to explore. I live over the hill from Cradle Mountain (1h 30 min drive away) just down the road from the Leven Canyon and on the doorstep of Black Bluff. All of these are renown Tasmanian hiking and bush walking destinations provide wonderful experiences to people of all levels of adventure and ability.
Regardless of your reason to visit I can guarantee a unique experience, which will leave you feeling refreshed and closer to nature.
We are living here in a small space of the Tasmanian Wilderness and if the thought of the seeing some marsupials POO, ants and active spiderwebs then I don't advise you to book because this place is organic and not a sterile poisoned experience.
I've only been hosting with Airbnb for a short time and can't help noticing that the guests leaving the cabin quite filthy are the people giving very poor ratings for cleanliness, if your wanting a 5 star resort style accomodation then look elsewhere.

I live in a remote area Nth West Tasmania, plenty of native animals, fresh spring water, clean air, building a sustainable life style with solar and micro hydro power system, variety of fruit, nut trees, veg garden, small fish farm. I enjoy travelling in Asia for the warm weather and great food.
