A romantic Nantucket-style eco-cottage made for slow escapes. Stay cool with reverse-cycle air conditioning in every room, then spend evenings in the garden under warm festoon lights. Sink into striped lazy boys with a glass of McLaren Vale bubbles, watching the Milky Way go by. Perfect for couples or friends to explore Port Willunga’s cliffs, world-class dining, and the Fleurieu wine region — all on your doorstep.

The space
Often described as an Hidden Gem, this little Eco getaway has recently undergone a full renovation with a new kitchen (including integrated dishwasher, brass fixtures & Nespresso coffee machine) and new wet areas bathroom, laundry with seperate loo.

You will have reverse cycle air-conditioning to all rooms/bedrooms for year round comfort and a wood heater for those chilly romantic winter nights.

Two Queen bedrooms feature luxurious linens and comfy mattresses to ensure a great nights sleep after a day on the beach or exploring this amazing region.

The open planned living/dining/kitchen area with high ceilings and wooden beams, includes a wood heater for those warm winter nights, a comfy vintage Danish reading chair, luxe leather lounges and dining area for enjoying fresh, local produce or playing boardgames and spending quality time together.

For chill nights in, a 52" Smart TV with Soundbar, Netflix and high speed wifi is provided.

Beautiful french doors open to the large undercover pergola dining & lounging area overlooking a little 'secret garden' which is something to be seen. Lovingly nurtured, our organic garden comes with veggie patch, fruit trees, lawned area and secret garden paths for exploring all of the seasonal flowers. The garden (both front and back) is brimming with plants; flowers, shrubs, trees and amazing birdlife.

We care for the environment and collect rainwater into tanks which is then filtered into the property, we use Solar to generate electricity and grow our own veg and fruit organically in our fertile and pesticide free soil.

Relax at the fire pit on that clear chilly night; sit back with a nice glass of local red, tell stories and roast marshmallows & chestnuts.

Wander back from the beach on lazy summer days and rinse off in the outdoor shower surrounded by the smell of flowering frangipanis.

Indoor laundry has a front loading Miele washing machine with a traditional, old fashioned 'hills hoist' clothes line in the backyard. There is a bathroom with large shower and seperate loo.

All linens and bath towels provided, including beach towels.

We believe in the little details! The Little Luxe Hideaway has been lovingly crafted with style and comfort and care for the environment in mind.

Enjoy the vintage pieces that we have collected over the years, beautiful antique art and hand made touches.

Our little place is ideal for small yoga/wellness retreats, tea ceremonies, baby moons and elopements packages. Small bridal parties. Approval required do let us know what you have in mind and we can help with the special occasion.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cottage and private gardens. There is a second studio on the property (completely separate/private) which will soon be available to book separately. Both spaces are completely private or can be opened up if booked together.

Other things to note
External camera road facing for property and guest security. There is a camera at the back outside also for security when the property is unattended. Staff switch this off before guest check in on the day. You may swivel it away from your view if you like. Any issues do let us know and we will attend to it.
