The space
The bonus for this suite is the garden view, huge eat-in kitchen, the gleaming hardwood floors, big-screen TV, and private entrance. It's a real home-away-from home.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire unit.

The backyard is huge with an English flower garden, patio furniture and lounge chairs. Make yourself at home.

Other things to note
The main transit hub is less than a 5 minute walk away and takes you anywhere you need to go in Barrie. The Allendale GO Train station that takes you into downtown Toronto is only a 5 minute drive away. Great for day trips.

RVH and Georgian College are a 7-10 minute drive.

Big-box shopping is no more than a 10 minute drive to the south end.

We recommend Simcoe County Airport Services for an easy commute from Toronto's Pearson Airport YYZ. Reserve ahead. They have good rates and polite door-to-door service. This option saves tons of time too... no need to head into Downtown Toronto just to come north on the Go Train.

We’re in the heart of old Barrie within walking distance of the downtown core and waterfront. It's an older established neighbourhood, on a tree lined street. It's remarkably quiet at night considering we're downtown (there is a fire station nearby tho) There’s easy access to Highway 400 but far enough away from the noise.

There's a large park and tennis courts steps away from the house.

Downtown Barrie is a 1 minute walk away and is a showcase for what a revitalized waterfront community can be. With its vibrant downtown, 3 beaches, waterfront parks, marina, pubs and great restaurants (almost any kind of food choice can be found here!) you will never get bored.

Because we are centrally located, you can be anywhere in town in less than 15 minutes.

Barrie-licious (a taste-sampling event hosted by participating restaurants) takes place in February and is a real treat... not to be missed.

My partner Mark and I started our AirBnb in 2015 with one suite. We've now grown to 5 suites and still going strong! We became SuperHosts right out of the gate and want to stay that way! Mark came from a hospitality background as an interior designer for many hotels and restaurants, and I was in the architectural design and then financial services businesses helping clients achieve their life goals. We like to give our guests as much privacy and space as they like. But are always available to lend a helping hand if needed. Customer service is our number 1 priority.
