This is a wonderful house on a secluded, lovely white sand beach. If you want to get away from it all for a break and not see another person on the beach, this place is for you! We were greeted by Randy, the caretaker of the property, who showed us how everything worked in the house. He left all of his numbers and was always in contact. He also reassured me it was a very safe place to stay, as I was concerned about the security of the property. He was right, it was very safe. I went with my husband and 20 year old daughter and had a very relaxing time. There were so many bedrooms to choose from, it was great! I think there is 5 or 6, I lost count !This is a great place to go with a group of friends and family. There was a big new Samsung TV in the living room with cable. The wifi was wasn’t working, but we had trouble the 10 days we were roaming around the Bahamas. Before I left, I purchased a Bahamas sim card that was sent to the States, which really helped in keeping the charges down and we had 6 GB of data for a month (URL HIDDEN) It took a bit to figure out how to set it up, but it was worth it. I also got one for my iPad, but in the Bahamas, BTC is frequently down on all the islands. The central AC worked great, although there are additional splits AC just in case the central is not enough. There are beautiful sunsets on the island that magically light up the sea around 6 pm. You could find a more beautiful beach...You will find some seaweed on the beach, but it is a very natural setting. This is not Nassau with lots of restaurants and nightlife, but it was exactly what we were looking for, a house on a dreamy white sand beach with gentle turquoise sea. We kept our fishing boat at the marina a (about 4 km distance from the house) and explored the area. We did rent a car for 100 USD a day at the marina. We were able to cook up our catch and have a relaxing time at the house. David recommened that we bring food and alcohol, and he was right. I was able to visit the supermarket at the marina which has just the basics, zero choice in fresh produce. I would like to go back again, but this time, I will pack up some frozen steaks (we catch our own fish, so I don’t have to worry about that) and fresh produce. You can find all the basics at the store, but I suggest paying for and extra bag on the plane and bringing some great dinners. There is one restaurant we wanted to visit but they were closed the days we booked the house, so we ended up cooking all our food....
