Welcome to the little white house on our 45 acre farm in Tenterfield. Wander the garden, pick what you like and slow right down, with Bald Rock, Girraween and Granite Belt wineries close by. Make it a stay to remember with our farm extras: a garden breakfast hamper, a dinner cooked by Benji and me from the garden, or a morning preserving with me and taking your jar home. See Other Details to Note for the full menu. We can't wait to have you.

The space
A High Country farm stay set on a working 50-acre property, just 15 minutes east of historic Tenterfield. Sitting 900 meters above sea level, framed by wide skies and rolling paddocks, this is a retreat designed for gathering, slowing down, and indulging in rural life.
Upon arrival, settle in with a complimentary bottle of local wine and a regional cheese platter.

The Homestead Interior

Step inside to an interior designed with a rich, dark, and moody aesthetic reminiscent of a classic cigar lounge. Deep tones, warm textures, and atmospheric lighting create an intimate setting to retreat from the High Country chill. At the heart of the living space is an open fireplace, perfect for pouring a drink, sinking into a armchair, and unwinding late into the night.

Bedrooms
3 beautifully styled dark-and-cozy bedrooms, each featuring a premium queen bed sleeping up to 6 guests.

Bathroom
1 clean, classic main bathroom in its original state—spotlessly maintained and full of authentic character—plus a second separate toilet for extra convenience.

Laundry
Fully functional indoor laundry with a washing machine, iron, and outdoor clothesline.

The Grounds, Barn & Larder
Outside, guests enjoy exclusive access to our private 4-acre home yard.

The Veggie Patch
Help yourself to fresh seasonal produce to cook during your stay.

Barn Dining
Share long, candlelit dinners or morning coffees inside our rustic barn.

Fire Pit & Endless Views
Watch golden-hour sunsets across the hills and gather around the fire pit under the stars.

The House Larder
Enjoy a complimentary jar of our signature homemade preserve upon arrival. If you fall in love with it or want to try other seasonal flavors, additional jars are available to purchase and take home.

Add-On Hampers
Custom picnic and hiking hampers are available upon request for an additional charge.

House Rules & Safety
Tank Water
The homestead runs entirely on harvested rainwater. Please be mindful of usage and take short showers.

Child Supervision
Children are welcome, but please note the homestead is not child-proofed. The indoor fireplace features a glass door without a protective outer fire screen or safety guard, meaning the glass and surround become extremely hot and pose a burn risk for little hands. Combined with delicate decor (an open drinks trolley and glass preserves) and working farm hazards outdoors, children must be closely supervised by an adult at all times.

Farm Boundaries
Access is strictly limited to the 4-acre house yard, barn, and garden. The 46-acre working paddocks are off-limits.

Non-Smoking & No Parties
Strictly non-smoking across the entire property. No unauthorised parties or events.

No Pets
Strictly no pets to protect native wildlife and livestock.

Hi I'm Tash. My husband Benji and I live on this beautiful 50 acre farm in Tenterfield NSW. We love design, travel, food, coffee, growing food and making things with our hands. Our farm is a place to do all those things and bring people together to share these experiences.
