Sea Joy Studio is a quiet retreat surrounded by native garden, stunning surf coast beaches, world renowned Bells Beach and the surf coast walk track an easy walk or short drive!

Perfectly located within a short walk to cafes and the many pristine beaches of Jan Juc including Bells Beach. Sea Joy is the perfect base to explore the Great Ocean Road, enjoy the stunning Surf Coast Walk or surf, swim and relax before retiring to the comforts of a cosy coastal retreat.

The space
Sea Joy is a unique space to relax, restore and rejuvenate. Enjoy the sunshine on the north facing deck or as the afternoon arrives the sun setting skies from the back courtyard.

The cozy living room offers lush bush garden views to the north and south. Watch the King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas and Gang Gang's graze in the trees, watch the Yellow Tailed black cockatoos graceful passing and happy calls of the kookaburras sitting in our gum trees.

In winter you may want to curl up on a couch in the downstairs living room or choose the loft to relax and watch the birds graze in the tree tops. Both a perfect space to retreat after a long beach walk or surf and enjoy a good book, day dream or watch a movie.

Sea Joy, is a separate studio located next to our home, if the chance arrises we will say hi in passing, however we ensure you are given your privacy at all times. We are situated on an acre with guests invited to enjoy the deck at the front of the studio and the back court yard and the herb and veggie garden behind Sea Joy.
You are welcome to enjoy the produce from our veggie patch located at the back of the property and fresh eggs from our chooks when they are laying.

Set up with the traveller in mind the studio is a perfect base while exploring the Surf Coast and the Great Ocean Road.

Stroll the beautiful dramatic beaches between Jan Juc and Bells Beach; at low tide there is a special magic, accessed a short walk from the Sea Joy; and a big reason we have called our beautiful space 'Sea Joy' with love.

You can walk to the surf at the end of the street or there are the many iconic surf options close by including Bells Beach, Winki and Bird Rock that offer a range of conditions dependent on swell, wind and tide.

At Sea Joy we want you to relax, unwind and love the tranquility as much as we do. To help create time for you to slow down; there is a space for you to practice yoga, mediate, read, dream, retreat and restore. We have provided two yoga mats and a block and strap for you to use or please feel free to bring your own.
There is a beautiful library of books to suite your taste, surfing, hiking, fiction and perhaps a book to help deepen your yoga practice.
Our studio is created for you with ecclectic comfort and style, we have provided everything you’ll need; architecturally designed spaces with well equipped kitchen, portable electric cooktop, BBQ, dishwasher, TV and Netflix, fresh linen and towels.

If you love music and can play the piano please enjoy our sweet girl; we love the sound of music in the air! Or find a board game in the side board in the entry to while-away the hours.

Whip up a tasty salad and enjoy with fresh local seafood or the truly sumptuous BBQ feast from our local butcher...Yum! The split system heating or air conditioning is beautiful for a cozy winter break or a cool place to retreat in the heat of summer.

Upstairs is the loft featuring two bedroom spaces divided by a wall ensuring privacy for both rooms. (Please note it is open plan) At the southern end is the master space with a queen bed and the north end one extra single bed to enable accommodation for up to 3 travelers (a couple and one child or two friends) - (a guest more than two guests needs to be prior arranged when booking and an extra $50 pn pp will be charged after two)
