Fully equipped 17' modern kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, central heating, bathroom with power shower, large 40" flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, dining table and a patio garden - perfect for couples and family's.

Easy access to Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester and the Peak District - lots of fast food, pubs, local shops and other activities within easy walking distance.

The space

Lounge / Dining Area - large open plan room with central staircase to upper floor which includes oak dining table & 4 chairs, modern electric fire, large 40" TV & DVD player with 3 seater leather sofa & chair.

Kitchen - 17' fully equipped kitchen including fridge/freezer, electric oven & grill, gas hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, washing machine, iron, ironing board and full set of crockery.

Main Bedroom - new king size bed and mattress with memory foam topper, new modern Ikea furniture including double wardrobe, large chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.

Back Bedroom - new double bed with triple wardrobe and small chest of drawers in pine which overlooks the garden and meadow to the rear of the property.

Bathroom - upstairs and accessed via the landing which has a modern white 3 piece suite which includes hot powerful shower over the bath, connected to the combi boiler.

Garden - rear patio garden with table and 4 chairs which is a bit of a suntrap!

Guest access

Guests will have full and exclusive access to the whole of the house for the duration of their stay including the sunny patio garden

Interaction with guests

The front door key is available from the lock box on the outside wall but we are available to call anytime with any issues or problems - our housekeeper lives close by and will be available at short notice in an emergency.

Stayed at this property after a viewing previously. I needed somewhere to stay whilst having my own house decorated plus new flooring laid. My daughter has a hearing disorder and cannot tolerate lots of noise. I needed somewhere that would be in a quiet location. This property ticked all the boxes. Although it is a mid terrace house the street and neighbours are very quiet. The property itself is very comfortable with a well fitted kitchen. There is WIFI and freeview channels on TV plus DVD player. It is an excellent location for travel as the motorway is nearby. Local amenities are good with a 24 hour Tesco a 5 minute walk plus a small retail park nearby with a Marks and Spencer food hall. I didn't visit the local town shops so cannot comment on what is available. The welcome pack at the house gives lots of information regarding what to do in the area. Very enjoyable stay and definitely booking again next year.

The interior belies the exterior, an estate agent would say "Surprisingly spacious". Tastefully decorated and replete with everything you will need, a real home from home.

My second stay here. Nice to sit in the patio garden. Great value for money. Quiet neighborhood, parking has not been a problem. Comfortable beds and good shower. Good sized Tesco 5 mins drive. I will be looking for a 3rd stay .. hopefully get to walk along the canal.

Nigel and Lynn's home is very comfortable clean and tidy and close to the new railway station. Close enough not to hear it though . Easy to find and a good central point for costing Derbyshire.

We enjoy the simple things in life like a walk up a hill in the Peak District for a stunning view, followed by a pub lunch and a pint. With the odd bit of fell running and night on the town thrown in, the best of what Britain has to offer
