Get ready to fall in love with Ballarat. You can walk to the lake, the gallery, the station and heaps of great cafes. You have your own separate bungalow: a sunny studio with own bathroom: shower and toilet. Entry is via the side gate, you walk along the side path; you can come and go as you please. Your own deck gives you entry to your accommodation; we share the back garden. You have tea, coffee and toaster, a fridge and microwave but there is no "kitchen" here.

The space

You will have a very quiet bungalow. It's clean and spacious with no clutter in the studio. It's light and airy, ventilation is great, the focus is on comfort and functionality.

Guest access

You have access to your private entry, your deck and the garden. If I am home I can show you around otherwise please note how to access entry if I am not:
key to the side gate is in an easy to find and operate key safe on my front porch hanging on the wrought iron balustrade, near my bike; code is the first 4 numbers of my phone number; unlock the side gate and the pink bungalow at the end of the garden path is your accommodation. Walk along your deck to the left and around to the sliding glass door of your accommodation. There is a green vase next to the door. The blue key to the bungalow (and your side gate key) is on a lanyard in the green vase by bungalow door and everything is easy to use and explained in the folder in your accommodation. When you leave for home please lock the bungalow and leave the key in the vase when you go.

Interaction with guests

We live in the house on the property and have very busy lives. We are available via phone or email and will aim to be there to meet you if you need. However we will respect your privacy, and won't intrude unless you want to know where the best coffee is.. (just around the corner at Webster's Cafe !) Otherwise please note how to access entry if I am not home:

Other things to note

We are very close to the CBD but in a quiet residential nook so please come and enjoy and respect the peace this offers. Please note there is no smoking on the property and please only the guests are to be on the property.

If you will travel to Ballarat you should contact Anita. The room is clean, warm, comfortable and very close to the centre. Great deal!

Great location and well-set-up accommodation. Good communication with Anita (who sadly I didn't get to meet!) and directions, and seamless check-in and stay. Thanks Anita!

A lovely quiet warm bungalow that was delightful to stay in. The winter sun streamed through the large window. Fantastic central location. Anita was wonderful to communicate with.

Lovely quiet bungalow close to the bustle of Stuart st. And the beauty of the lake. Anita is so accommodating but unobtrusive. All around excellent lodgings.

Such a lovely place in a very convenient location. The bed is so comfortable you may struggle to leave! Anita kept in contact to make sure we knew where everything was and, most importantly in winter, was kind enough to get the heater going before we arrived.

This place is a beautiful, quiet, cozy little bungalo just a few minutes walk from downtown Ballarat, and the lake. Anita is so thoughtful in providing just what is needed, whether it is to be left alone to enjoy the lovely garden, or to be offered extensive information on Ballarat and the surrounding countryside. Lovely. Clean, a great value. All the good things.

Hello, I have lived in Ballarat for 8 years and while not exactly a local I know my way around this region having lived in it for 15. I like permaculture gardening and practise this ( and life ) in a permaculture way: eclectic and messy! I love dogs and movies, eating out and eating with friends and family. I work in Ballarat and Melbourne during the week and look forward to meeting you.
