A spacious old studio flat with own courtyard, at rear of the property, with separate entrance from back lane. Retro and global decor. A rarity in today's increasingly high rise Fitzroy. Once the stable of the 1885 house then 60s garage.
Fantastic location, 2 minutes from bars, cafes and shops of vibrant bohemian Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, trams to the city and beyond at your doorstep.
This is Fitzroy in its bohemian heyday.
If you want to experience what once was - this is the house for you.
The studio has a queen size bed. A single bed can be made up. The 3 seater chesterfield sofa (1950s) is a very comfortable extra bed. The space is heated with 2 good quality ceramic tower heaters.
It has a kitchenette and a small toilet and shower. The garden area gets direct midday sun.
There is one free parking spot at the front of the house. Guest should give me notice if they wish to use this space so it can be reserved for them. Please don't assume that it is automatically available.

Other things to note
This property is in the middle of alternative Melbourne - or a walk or tram ride away - depending on what you are looking for. This area has it all.
This is a sustainable ethical eco household. No chemicals are used in cleaning. Some bedding may be not new but it IS CLEAN.
Please DO NOT confuse old with dirty. Especially if you are using uncleanliness as a reason for total refund.
Harry the cat does not live in the studio but he may say hello sometimes.
