Listing had multiple inaccuracies. The very large temperamental dogs "run the house" as per Eliza's mom. This is not a good environment for a student or professional, loud hosts that are in and out at 11pm and 4am. My safety was an issue when 2 of 3 dogs barked and growled at …

Response from Eliza:
This review was written after Ryne wasn't able to renegotiate the terms of his refund for cancelling his reservation. He checked in at 8:30pm, was shown around and introduced to my dogs then went to his room for the rest of the night and sent us a message that he checked out first thing the next morning. Please read it and see his bad intentions. Firstly, please see previous reviews from other guests who loved our dogs and didn't have problems with them, they are very sweet and love people. Chloe takes a little warming up but is easily won over by treats and a little time. Ryne is approx 6'2", an army vet and knew we have dogs, acknowledging he read their description in our listing and confirming he loved big dogs in our communication. We adopted a puppy in April and did forget to add him in the description but have since revised to include him. We are very quiet and respectful of our guests, I got home from work at 11pm and my mom left for work at 4am... quietly. Ryne's real problem was that my mom lives here too and he thought he would just be staying here with me, I find that really creepy! Our cleaning crew is amazing and they left 2 hours before he was scheduled to check in, the house was spotless and everything in the room was cleaned and washed including the curtains - the dogs are not allowed in the room. Lastly, we live in a great Austin neighborhood, we know our neighbors and love our community. That being said, we do not leave things in our cars to encourage theft and feel that is common sense for any neighborhood or city. (sorry this is so long, I felt it was important to fully address this review/person)

Great stay. The house was super clean and close to downtown, but still in a traditional Austin neighborhood. Very safe area. Eliza helped me out with a wonderful restaurant and "fun" bar recommendation one night when I had to take a client out. Oh, and the dogs ... Chloe and Ze…

I love travel, snowboard, films, music, the usual... I first used airbnb in London and later that trip in Paris. I had such a great experience I decided to travel more and share my place with others to help share how awesome Austin is (plus help fund my travel).
