My partner Bruno and I moved to Kangaroo Island in 2016 on a bit of a whim, after knowing each other for less than a year. We bought an old hostel and gave it a new lease on life, adding lots of splashes of colour, quirky decor & local art. Meeting a broad range of people from around the world has brought us so much joy. While living on an island has its challenges, we love our community and are grateful to live here.
