Nice & Quiet place, about 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. We stayed here on our way into Hobart after travelling around the island for a few days. Breakfast was include; the set-up for this was a little old fashioned and time-consuming, but a nice touch nonetheless. Vehicle access around the rear was great. As was getting to use the kitchenette facilities.

Response from Vicki:
We are sorry you felt the set up for breakfast was a little old fashioned. The building itself was built in the 1830's, so we felt like we should honour that by serving it to you in our lovely Café. We make sure that the cereals, yoghurt, fruit etc. are out as soon as you arrive and then follow that on with the toast, croissants etc. soon after. This system has worked quite efficiently for us in the past as previous guests have complemented us for it, unfortunately it does only work if everyone comes down for breakfast at the time they have requested. Coming down late or separately does cause the breakfast to be time consuming as you found out. As for the ant situation, again, we do apologise, unfortunately when the weather changes, little black ants do tend to come in. We have no control over that, sorry. We put surface spray around but due to the age of the building, there is always another little crack for them to find.
