As a host on AirBnB we welcome registered guests to our beautiful and private guest house located on our personal property. Those guests registered and accepted by us have the free range of the entire property, including the beach, dock and gardens. It is a large estate, yet tranquil and private. In order to keep it that way, we only allow registered guests, not those we did not accept or invite to our property. In order to maintain the control and atmosphere we expect and that other guests who rent other dwellings on our property expect, we clearly state "no events, no parties". Perhaps this review helps clarify what that means. We thought reasonable guests would recognize that renting a unit from us would allow them to enjoy the property themselves. That inviting other friends, family or children without our approval would be a violation of not only our rules, but AirBnB policies. All guests must be registered and approved. It seems simple, but this clarification may be necessary to avoid future abuse. We want to keep providing the type of place that has provided us with dozens of glowing reviews and repeat guests. We appreciate all the guests who understand what it means to enjoy staying at a private beach side retreat and have had the good judgment not to assume it was a place they could rent for a night and invite whomever else they chose. Remember, when you rent from us you are our guests. You are not entitled to invite your own guests.
