What our guests say:
“Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your home. The house had everything we needed and more, the children loved the pool and we were literally outside from morning till night sitting on the veranda or round the pool, we didn’t want to leave and are definitely come back” Tina, UK
“We’ve been coming to Cyprus for years but this was the first time we stayed in a village and I have to say we are officially converted! The local people were really friendly and it was great to see this different side to Cyprus that I would never have imagined. The pool is lovely and the outside space is even better than it looks in the pictures, thank you Andriana!” Julia
The best bits…
The outdoor space of this traditional villa has to be seen to be believed! 250m2 of space built over two levels with a 10mx5m private pool on the lower level and beautifully furnished covered terraces above.
The pool lies in the lower courtyard and has sun beds and parasols for your use, stone stairs lead you to the upper level and the outdoor living area. An attractive wooden pagoda covers the whole upper level meaning you can enjoy being outside pretty much all year round! There is a sitting area with rattan chairs and sofas and a separate dining area with seating for 8 guests but plenty of space for more!
Villa Elizabeth can sleep up to six guests and has two double and one twin bedroom all with air-conditioning and ample storage, three bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The main living space is open-plan and features a cosy sofa corner around the ornamental fireplace, flat-screen TV, DVD player and a small DVD library. There is a long wooden dining table which comfortably seats eight and an attractive kitchen with all the amenities you could wish for.
The living space is fully air-conditioned and all of the windows have double-glazing and shutters to keep things nice and cool in the summer. The main living space is on the first floor with access to the outdoor terrace, there is one bathroom on the lower level which is ideal for when you are using the pool.
Villa Elizabeth is a traditional stone-built house that has been carefully and stylishly modernised to offer the very best in contemporary living. The garden is fenced and there is space for parking. In traditional style, the main living space is upstairs and is accessed via stone steps from the pool area. However, there is a sloped pathway to the rear of the house allowing access without steps to the living area.
Pachna village lies at the heart of the wine region between Limassol and Paphos. This pretty inland community is a great place to experience Cyprus village life and also to explore the surrounding area. It is 15 minutes from the sea, 15 minutes from Pissouri, 15 minutes from the nearest golf course and 25 minutes from Limassol, Paphos and Troodos! If you are a wine buff, it is also ideally located on the wine trail so plenty of tasting opportunities to be had.
The village itself is typical of a rural community; Cypriot people are known for their warm hospitality and no-where is this more true than in a small peaceful village! Our guests tell us that they loved meeting the local people and trying the local produce, although English is widely spoken, learn a few words of Greek and you will make friends for life! There is a good taverna, a traditional coffee shop and a small grocery store for every day essentials right on your doorstep too.

Interaction with guests
I will meet you when you arrive to show you the villa and will also be available during your stay for any assistance you may need
Other things to note
A word to the wise…choose the right space for you
Villa Elizabeth is located in a small Cypriot village, there are a couple of really good tavernas locally and it is only around a 25-minute drive into buzzing cosmopolitan Limassol.
Public transport in rural areas is very limited. We would suggest that a car is essential for making the most of your stay in Pachna
The nearest beach is around a 15-minute drive away but with your own private pool we are sure this won’t bother you in the least!
There is a small grocery store in the village for essentials and you should definitely try the unique local bread. For a bigger shop or to stock up when you arrive, we suggest you call in at Pissouri which is around a 15-minute drive away where you will find a large supermarket, pharmacy, petrol station and bakery. We can also arrange for your shopping to be delivered to your house on arrival, a small charge will apply.
We think that the best thing about Villa Elizabeth is its gorgeous pool and huge outdoor space! However if you are travelling with young children please bear in mind that there is no safety fence available for the pool and the outdoor area is built over two floors. If you are planning a family holiday, please do have a good look at the photos and let us know if you have any questions.
The fireplace in the house is ornamental only so please do not use it, the house has split-level air-con/heating units in every room.
- We want to greet all our guests personally, so either we or a local host will meet you at the home when you arrive and show you how everything works. Check in time is 15:00 and Check out 10:30, we try to be flexible though so if you would like to check in early or check out late, let us know and we’ll see what we can do. Unfortunately we cannot accept check in after 22:00 or before 09:00. Once you’ve booked we’ll send over some information to help you plan your trip. The price of your stay includes high quality bed linen and towels for six people and cleaning prior to arrival. If you would like extra linen or cleaning during your stay we can take care of this for you, but there will be an additional charge. Your local host can organise this. We have also calculated “normal” use of electricity, including the air-conditioning at Euro 10 per day. Electricity in Cyprus is rather expensive so we ask our guests not to leave the a/c on when they are outside the house. We will read the electricity meter when you arrive and again when you leave and if you have used more than the allocated amount we will need to charge you for this. Although the house is very spacious, it is intended to sleep six guests only, there are no sofa beds available although baby cots can be provided for smaller guests. With such a lovely space, we can understand that you might wish to invite friends or family to spend the day which is fine with us. However if you are planning a larger event please talk to us first, additional charges will apply.
