Get away from it all and relax with family and friends, Wallis Lakehouse is the perfect destination. Lots of space in and around the property for activities.

Located just 3 hours north of Sydney near Pacific Palms, it's an ideal location on 11 hectares of land fronting Wallis Lake and only minutes from beautiful beaches, restaurants and cafes, with the twin towns of Forster and Tuncurry less than 25 minutes drive.

INDOORS

The house features a huge master bedroom with king bed and walk-through ensuite, two large bedrooms with queen beds and another large bedroom with three double bunks (suitable for kids and adults alike, top bunks for older children/adults only), In addition, there is a fold-out sofa double bed for use in a TV room annex (with wrap around privacy curtain). There is even a cot available for the youngest members of the family (please enquire).

On top of the ensuit bathroom in the Master bedroom the house also has two bathrooms and two separate toilets AND a shower room and toilet next to the pool area. Full laundry room with new washing machine, dryer, clothes line, plus iron and ironing board.

A new stainless steel dishwasher makes short work of the washing up, and a newly installed gas oven & electric grill, new gas 5-burner stovetop (including special wok element) make cooking for a large group a breeze! The kitchen features all the cooking accessories you could ever need including pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, serving platters, sandwich press, blender and even a pod coffee machine, so bring your favourite ALDI coffee pods with you!

And don't worry about having to squeeze your food and drink into a pokey fridge - Wallis Lakehouse features a unique WALK-IN COOLROOM with plenty of space that allows you to just place multiple eskies and cases of drink intact. You can even store your drinks so they are accessible from the access door on the back, which opens up into the large wooden bar area, complete with barstools, a plethora of glasses and a cosy lounge area.

The bar area overlooks the massive sunken lounge room which provides seating for 11+ adults to watch the large smart TV.
This area is also accessible from the dining area, which features dining facilities for up to 15 people.

OUTDOORS

Outside the house, you'll be able to spend the day in the outdoor entertainment area relaxing around the large pool, cooking on the new BBQ in an undercover area, eating and drinking in the sun at the 14-seat outdoor dining table, laying out on the manicured grass and listening to your music. There is even a separate bathroom w/ shower plus toilet accessible from this area, so no need to run through the house.

The house itself is located atop a hill overlooking sweeping views of bushland (featuring a diversity of birdlife and even the occasional deer and kangaroo), flat pastures, wetlands, waterways, dams, a pond and the beautiful Wallis Lake.

The lake is easily accessible along 100m of private lake frontage with lush grass. The water can be enjoyed on one of 6 kayaks provided, with not only Wallis Lake to explore, but a waterway running across the property that feeds into a picturesque and secluded wetland only a few hundred meters from the house. You'll feel like Mick Dundee (without the threat of crocodiles) as you navigate your way around.

You can bring your own boat/jet skis and take it out on the lake, for fishing, watersports, dolphin spotting, or a trip over to the nearby Rec Club for a chicken schnitzel or into Forster/Tuncurry for a lunch of fish and chips. Small craft such as tinnies and runabouts can be dropped straight in at the waterfront, with larger vessels able to utilise nearby Coomba Park or Pacific Palms boat ramps to launch. There's no shortage of suitable flat land to park and turn a boat when it's not out on the water.

And if you're still looking for things to do, the area is famous for its pristine beaches with Blueys, Boomerang and Elizabeth beaches only approximately 10 minutes drive. And for the adventurous souls, the property is also bordered by the Wallingat National Park, offering 4WD tracks, mountain-biking and bushwalking through the forest.

Wallis Lakehouse is a dog-friendly property, Dogs absolutely LOVE the freedom of having lots of land and water to run and play! The house features a dedicated area adjoined to the house for dogs with a fenced grass area for them to run around in when they aren?t off exploring the property with you. If you wish to bring your dog/s with you, please make sure you request this in your enquiry as specific conditions apply, including strictly no access to the main part of the house.

Communication is easy with the property receiving full Telstra and Optus mobile coverage. And Starlink satellite internet connection. Space in the driveway for at least 6 more, with further parking space for larger vehicles also available on the property.

WALLINGAT NATIONAL PARK (literally across the road from Wallis Lakehouse)

Here, on the Mid North Coast of NSW, the Pacific Ocean meets forest. At Whoota Whoota lookout, one of Wallingat National Park’s most visited attractions, you’ll be overwhelmed by the beauty. Explore the park further and you’ll see stands of straight, tall flooded gums. At Sugar Creek, there are also stands of cabbage palms, filled with the sounds of Wallingat’s native birdlife. Pack the car and explore what this great park has to offer for a few hours. There’s camping at Wallingat River, and a picnic area at Sugar Creek.

A network of unsealed roads throughout the park allows you to discover its best features. Accessible by 2WD in dry weather, you can also explore them by mountain bike or horseback. There’s great fishing in the river and lake, and you can swim when the weather is warm. Keep your eyes peeled for kangaroos and wallabies, as well as some of the 200 species of birds that make Wallingat their home.

ELIZABETH BEACH (just 9 mins drive from Wallis Lakehouse)

At the northern end of Pacific Palms lies Elizabeth Beach. It is a small community nestled within rugged headlands covered with palm forests. The area is bounded by the Booti Booti National Park, Wallis Lake and the Tasman Sea. Sensational walking tracks and two beautiful beaches are the centrepiece of Elizabeth Beach. Both beaches face north and offer well protected swimming. Elizabeth beach is the only patrolled beach in Pacific Palms and Shelley Beach is a clothing optional beach so don't be surprised when you arrive. The trails around the area are blessed with some of the best views in the region. There is also the famous Pacific Palms markets once a month. A visit to Elizabeth Beach will provide that break from 'day to day' life and give you a chance to breathe again.

BOOMERANG BEACH (just 10 mins drive from Wallis Lakehouse)

Boomerang Beach is Pacific Palms best surfing beach, with rock ledges helping to form great waves. It plays host to major surfing competitions each year and is a magnet for surfers. The beach is actually 'boomerang' shaped and is ideal for swimming with protection from prevailing winds at either end. In summer this is where Sydney's rich come to play but this region is renowned for its fantastic climate so anytime of the year is a good time to stay. The area also has local shops offering everything you will need for that perfect holiday. Pack your boards and bikes and head to Boomerang Beach for that surfing escape.

BLUEYS BEACH (just 8 mins drive from Wallis Lakehouse)

Alongside Boomerang Beach is Blueys Beach completing the trifecta of perfect surfing beaches in Pacific Palms. No matter the time of year you are guaranteed a good wave. Rumour has it Blueys Beach gained its name from a cows misadventure on the hill leading up to Yarric Mountain on the southern end of Blueys. So close to Pacific Palms the area has plenty of dining options as well.

COOMBA (just 15 mins drive from Wallis Lakehouse)

Coomba Park is located on Wallis Lake and borders on to the Wallingat National Park. This friendly village offers peace and tranquillity miles away from the stresses of everyday city life. There are trails and lake to explore, the village has a large resident kangaroo population and is actually closer to Forster Tuncurry by boat that it is by car. Coomba celebrates Australia Day each year with its famous raft race and is also a transition for the Forster Adventure Race.

TIONA (just 12 mins drive from Wallis Lakehouse)

Nestled on the northern end of Pacific Palms at the start of 7 Mile Beach you will find Tiona. Here there is only a small stretch of sand separating the Pacific Ocean and Wallis Lake, and is a perfect spot to spend lazing by the lake or surfing. Tiona is also home to The Green Cathedral. This majestic open-air sanctuary is a special feature of the Great Lakes. This beautiful place with rough timbered pews and woodern lectern is situated under a canopy of cabbabe tree palms, on the shores of Wallis Lake. This al fresco cathedral is regularly used for weddings, worship, blessings, baptisms and funeral services. Connecting Tiona to Elizabeth Beach is a spectacular cliff trail or a flat lakeside track.
