50% Ski Lodge. 50% Motel. 100% Style!!

Become immersed in the hey-day of Australian skiing - in a heritage Snowy Mountain Scheme built house: complete with cheesy souvenirs; scratchy towels; the latest 1960s jazz + pop records; strong coffee and naturally: Apres-ski MARTINIS!

Adorned with: decor; fittings; (some) appliances and furnishing in-or-of the era - we offer up something a little different from the ordinary: allowing you to step-back-in-time - & rest-up for your big-day on the slopes!

The space
Martini (named after a cross-country ski race of yesteryear), is a 1964-built: private; quiet; granny flat, adjacent to our house in Jindabyne NSW.

The unit has one bedroom, with kitchenette with fridge and ensuite, all freshly overhauled in 2020.

The decor is hip/retro 1960s and most of the decor is of the era. The unit has one DOUBLE bed and one single, therefore sleeps up to three people.

The unit is light and airy all summer, yet cosy and warm in the cooler months, due to the morning sun.

Jindabyne is a stunning town, nestled at foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Sleepy and quiet eight months a year, it becomes a focus during winter as the ski season kicks-in and the ski resorts open.

During summer it is surrounded by mountain biking trails, hundreds of kilometres of quiet roads for road-cycling and of-course Lake Jindabyne.

Jindabyne is 5 hours drive South of Sydney and 2 hours South of Canberra.

Guest access
'Martini' is seperate from our house, guests have private access to the unit. At this point in time, we do not grant access to the main house, or laundry.

Other things to note
We are an easy five minute stroll to the Jindabyne town centre which boasts fantastic shops; cafés; bars; breweries, supermarkets, and restaurants.

The Lake, and trail head to the 'Shared' mountain bike trails are only two or three minutes walk away, and the ski resorts are about a 25-35 minute drive away.

You are able to hire skis or snowboarding gear in the winter, and mountain bikes, road bikes, water craft (boats, stand up paddle boards (SUP boards), kayaks) in the summer from a number of suppliers in town.
