Peace and quiet

This home is in a quiet area.
Traditional mountains charm with all the modern luxuries. Our home is a high quality, bespoke home with a large open plan living area, a gourmet kitchen and a cosy library/separate lounge room with an open fireplace. Two modern bathrooms, one with a large claw foot bathtub. A huge level garden with play equipment, a covered deck for outdoor entertaining, veggie patch and a fire pit area. An equally short walk to town for excellent coffee or in the other direction for bush walks and lookouts.

The space
Living Space
Large open plan dining and lounge with a wood fireplace.
The large rustic dining table seats 8-10 and has a gorgeous green outlook onto the expansive garden. The king lounges are comfortable and centre around the wood fire.

Kitchen
Bespoke kitchen with marble bench tops and quality fixtures. Large Smeg oven and stove top. Large kitchen island with bar seating. Perfect for an antipasto platter and wine while dinner is prepared.

Library/second lounge room
A quiet, cosy separate lounge room to escape the children. Choose a book from the extensive library and spend an afternoon reading by the fire.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1- Master Bedroom with ensuite.
Luxurious King size bed. Quality bed linen provided. Walk in robe.

Bedroom 2- Queen bed with french doors access to side verandah which also provides a private entrance.

Bedroom3- King-single bed and toddler/baby cot. Built in robe and extensive collection of children's books.

Bedroom 4 - Double Bed with built in robe

There is also a port-a-cot available and an extra (large) cot mattress and an extra single mattress that can be used on the floor in one of the bedrooms.
Additional guests (at $20 extra per person per night) are able to sleep very comfortably on the King lounges, extra single mattress or lounge in the library. This can be made into a King single and is really comfortable.

Bathroom 1 - Large claw foot bath, toilet, shower, vanity and heat lamp

Outdoors
Relax on our large back deck with BBQ and outdoor lounge setting- perfect for wine and cheese or a quiet morning cuppa. Watch the kids play in the large grass area of the yard or toast marshmallows around the fire pit. Pick fresh herbs and veggies from the veggie beds or apples, figs, lemons and limes (seasonal)
Both the front and back gardens are a delight of colour and variety in each season. The back garden has a children's swing set, trampoline, outdoor toys, slide and climbing dome. Plenty to occupy little ones for hours.

Lives in Blackheath, Australia
I’m a busy mum of four (yep, four!) adventurous young kids who swapped the city life for the trees and fresh air of Blackheath in the beautiful Blue Mountains about 7 years ago. We have our own Airbnb and a farm to keep us out of mischief. My hubby is a chiropractor and when I’m not wrangling kids, chickens or the dog, I’m a primary school teacher.
