My place is close to downtown Annapolis - and you would have access to a detached apartment all to yourself. We are right on the water - and you will wake up to beautiful sunrise views. There is also a boat ramp around the corner and you could hook up your boat to our dock if that is helpful. You can even go paddle boarding right off the dock! There is access to a small community beach right next door. Check out the ratings - this place is a gem. Parking is available.

The garage home was nicely renovated. However, there were no instructions on how to enter the home and nowhere to park. There is a Muddy, gravel parking area between garage and home but it was packed with 3-4 cars. Had to park in the driveway of abandoned home across the road. No where to put luggage. or clothes as the closet used for owner storage. Huge Keurig machine taking up kitchen counter with no coffee provided. Dirty fridge. View not as shown. Garage sits behind home and the view of the bay is between two homes over the parked cars in the driveway.

We had an amazing weekend at Brians cottage. Loved kayaking on the river every morning and just relaxing by the beach. Brian was a great host!!!

Brian was a wonderful host! The apartment was perfect for our quick trip out of the city. The views were beautiful (especially sunrise if you're up early!) and it was awesome to be able to open the sliding glass doors and hear the sounds of the bay. Highly recommend!

Brian was easy to communicate with and made sure to let us know in advance that we'd encounter some bad weather/flooding on our first night. The house is in a nice, quiet area -- great for relaxing with views of the water and about a 20 minute drive to downtown Annapolis.

Some Airbnb hosts go out of their way to ensure a perfect stay and others feel putting a roof over your head is their only obligation. This host was the latter. Please regard my review as constructive criticism….. As like many folks, my day dos not begin until I have a hot cup of coffee in hand. I arrived at Brian's place and settled in, unpacking the coffee, creamer and sugar I brought only to look around and realize there is no coffee pot. There is a Keurig on the counter but no K-cups. I email the owner to ask where they are stored and he responds there are none. I get up the next morning, MapQuest a local grocery store and return with K-cups only to discover the Keurig doesn't even work. I once again email the owner only be told to go to a coffee shop if I want coffee…really? Now I could have microwaved a cup of water and made a strainer out of paper towels but I realize there is no microwave or hot plate or anything. The entire kitchen consists of a fridge and broken Keurig. You honestly can’t put a $200 microwave on the counter for guests? In addition to the fridge and microwave, there was a trash can under the sink that was left full of garbage. I didn’t feel as if it was my responsibility to empty it. Instead of spending some time relaxing with a cup of coffee, we decide to shower and go out. Preparing to do so, I realize that we are booked to be there for three nights and the host left exactly two bath towels, one each. At this point, I was wishing I had booked into a hotel instead. At $200/night, it has all the amenities of camping. We spent all day Friday out and about and did not return until late in the evening. Since it had rained a good part of the day, the entire path from the driveway to the garage (the rental unit is built over top the garage) was flooded. The only way to get into the apartment was to take off your shoes, roll up your pants and wade through 3-4" of water for approx. 20 feet. Hardly something I think the Board of Health would approve if inspected. Can you imagine having to do this at a hotel and wade through a lobby to get to your room? I did notice that the owner had backfilled and stoned the driveway and path to the main house so water was not an issue there. Just didn't bother doing a path to the apartment. The next morning, there were ducks swimming at the base of the steps. It would have been cute had I not had to walk through their pond to get to my truck. The water did not dry up until the morning of departure. I've had many great Airbnb experiences and I'm always happy to leave a glowing...

Response from Brian:
I think its safe to say we are glad this tenant left. They went to unauthorized areas of the property leaving the rest of our property a mess. We have placed a microwave in the home - so should be all set with everything working (Keurig works fine). I would take the rest of his comments with a grain of salt - given the other 5 star reviews we have received on site. I got a bit of a laugh when he expected me to run to the store and get him coffee :)
