Where you’ll be

Nairobi, Nairobi County, Kenya

Most things you need are within walking distance: butchery, supermarkets, wines and spirits, bars, malls, local gyms, dry cleaning. Goods and services are also really cheap & affordable on this side of town.

Umoja 1 Primary Swimming pool is a 15min walk or Ksh 20/- matatu ride from the house. The pool is open from 7am - 5pm everyday of the week and costs Ksh 100/- per person.

The area also bustles with activity up till 11pm so is quite safe to walk around. 24 hour street lights also help with the security.

There are very few foreigners in the area but the people are very friendly and interactive which serves for a fulfilling, cultural, no-filter exploration into the true lives of Kenyans.
This place largely suits backpackers and those seeking adventure.
