The space
Villa Semeru forms part of a 5000 m2 compound with 4 luxury villas – each with its private pool, parking spot and tropical garden. The perfect hideout in Canggu, amidst tropical vegetation and beautiful rice fields, within a few minutes to the beach.

Mount Semeru is an active volcano located in East Java, Indonesia. The name derived from the Hindu-Buddhist mythical mountain of Meru or Sumeru, the abode of gods.

The elegant Villa Semeru fits up to 4 guests and comes with its own private garden, a large, inviting pool and a thatched Balé (Gazebo), traditionally crafted from quality Coconut timber.
The ground floor comprises an elegant, spacious bedroom with a double bed, leading to the terrace and the tropical garden. It connects to a comfortable bathroom with a small backyard, which captivates through the unique use of lava rock elements. The fully equipped kitchen is next to a stylish dining area and the tastefully decorated living room with beautiful, high-quality furniture. Thanks to the sliding doors, you can enjoy this space open or closed.
The second floor includes another bright and luxurious bedroom with a double bed and its own balcony. There is plenty of storage room in the wooden cupboards and you have a lovely view to the garden and the rice fields. Get into the authentic Balinese mood, gazing up to the striking, p(website hidden)-style thatched roof.
All bedrooms are equipped with our exclusive room-in-room mosquito-net solution, air condition and fans.

Our Villas are built in a modern, tropical style, situated in a secluded area of 5000 m2 and surrounded by a few neighbouring villas and pretty rice fields. From your balcony you can watch the local farmers harvesting their rice paddies.

The legendary surf breaks at Echo beach and the hip scene off Batu Bolong are only a few minutes away and there is a wide range of restaurants available. You can mingle with the locals, trying one of the numerous “Warungs”, with its typical Indonesian dishes, or you decide to dine in one of the elegant upper-class restaurants - there is something for everybody!
