(Sorry for English mistakes.) Unfortunately I have not liked this place. 1. Cleaning The walls and the carpets are very dirty in the room and in the hall too. The kitchen is dirty in some places. Usually the furnitures are old and very used. You can see two nice white sofas in…

Response from Judy:
Hi Monika, Thank you for your review. I will try to make my response as brief as possible, as I experienced many challenges with having you in my home, and I absolutely do not wish to prolong this relationship. The private bedroom and home you were in did not have dirty walls or a dirty carpet, as you attempt to claim here. That is a false claim, and unless you soiled the carpet or walls before leaving, they are just as shown in the photos. Thank you. The kitchen and bathroom are not identical to your portrayal of them being rusted, either. Again, I hope you will learn to be less dishonest and unkind in your assessment of others and their homes. As for your claim of me being passive aggressive, I am not sure how you define the term. But the definition of the term "passive aggressive" does not describe the approach I took in communicating with you. You left my counters and the kitchen sink unkempt with food on multiple occasions, and I pointed them out to you simply, directly, and politely, as I would with any of my guests. At one point you became angry, snatched the leftover food off of the counter, and briskly walked into your room after snapping at me verbally. Instead of an apology to me for your aggressive and rude behavior, you claim that I am passive aggressive. Simply because I did not overtly express the extreme frustration I experienced with hosting you does not mean I passive aggressive. It means I was attempting to be patient with your many attempts to find something wrong with the place at every turn and corner—*even* as you left it unkempt yourself on multiple occasions(!). You even chose to continue your vindictive behaviors by trying to refuse to pay for the remaining days of your stay, and *then* unjustly demanding that I pay you more than $200 through the resolution center—wow! I will say this—I am glad I was able to withstand the many impolite, and even insulting occurrences you offered, and I am glad I did not react with my true level of frustration. I hope you will decide to be more graceful and mature in the way you treat others in the future. I am grateful for this experience, as life is not without its challenges to sharpen us, but I am also rather thankful that it is over. Onward and forward :). Sincerely, Judy

Judy is extremely neat and expects the same of her guests. She communicates through passive aggressive post-its to remind guests of rules, and is very stringent about those. She has a very long list of rules and tends to be somewhat passive aggressive in reminding guests.

Response from Judy:
Hello Emilie, Thanks for your review. My communications to my guests—be it through notes, verbal reminders, or Airbnb messages—are always direct yet respectful (not passive aggressive as you claim), and they leave no room for interpretation (e.g. "Please remember to help take out the trash if you contribute to filling it. Thank you." ). After addressing various cleanliness issues with you several (—several) times face-to-face, I found it a good idea to also leave you a couple of written reminders, which unfortunately did not help, as you did not seem interested in correcting the issues being pointed out. I would suggest being more considerate of others' homes and being careful to not leave messes for others to clean. It can be (and was!) very frustrating to have to choose between constantly reminding you to clean up after yourself or cleaning up after you (neither is a desirable option). Do try to not see reactions like these as independent, random occurrences, but rather as responses to challenges your behaviors pose. Best wishes, Judy

I enjoyed my stay at Judy's place. She will greet you with a ready to go attitude and provides a small introduction to the place and what's to be expected. She is super organized, very clean and has specific house rules which I thought were fair and a great way to keep things ru…

Gracias Judy por tu hospitalidad, recomiendo 100% el alojamiento, está relativamente cerca del centro de WS (se puede ir andando sin problemas) y en un barrio tranquilo. La habitación es simple pero acogedora.
