About this listing
Delightful cottage in the heart of Maleny. Spacious and private, Arthouse B&B gets its name from the eclectic range of pottery and art work on display.
Arthouse B&B features some of the gorgeous and colourful art works of the previous owner, Kaye Leach. The cottage is only 200 metres to central Maple Street with its vast array of cafes and shops. There are two spacious bedrooms, both with wardrobes and comfy queen-sized beds. A fold-out bed in the lounge is for extra guests. There is an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room as well as a laundry.
A continental breakfast will be provided for the first morning of your stay and may include such items as fresh croissants, Maleny gourmet yoghurts, fruit and a range of Brookfarm gourmet macadamia muesli.
For children: There is chalk to use on the blackboard and a Ladybird wheely bug to whiz about on. And some kids' books and toys.
Foxtel and airconditioning have recently been installed!
Please note: everything (and more) that you'd ordinarily find in a motel is provided! I sometimes get asked if linen and towels are provided! OF COURSE.

Guests have access to entire property, including outdoor area. Park in the carport or on the driveway up to the carport (not in the car spaces allotted to the two houses behind). You are welcome to park on the grass.
Interaction with guests
If you would like me to meet you at Arthouse when you check in please let me know. Otherwise I'll just leave you to let yourself in using code for keyless lock. If you could text me to let me know you've arrived that would be great.
You can ring or text me anytime up to early evening, bearing in mind that sometimes you may not be able to reach me if I'm out and about in some areas of Maleny and Conondale where there is no mobile service!
Other things to note
I can often accommodate earlier check-in, say 12pm or even 10am (if no guests the night before), especially for those going to a wedding, so please don't hesitate to ask.
Please leave house as you found it: dishes cleaned and put away etc. Rubbish in bins outside - yellow bin is for recycling. Fresh bags for bins are in drawers under bench and vanity.
All used linen (only pillow cases that have been used) can be placed in baskets in laundry or bathroom.
If hot weather first try airconditioner on Dry Setting as this uses less electricity. If not sufficient then change mode to Cool. Make sure airconditioner turned off when you go out.
Also when you go out close windows (except those opening into porch or carport as rain won't enter those).
Smoking outside only - there is an ashtray provided on the outdoor table.
Please respect the neighbours and maintain noise levels.
Only park in the carport or driveway up to it (or grass) but not the car spaces at the bottom, which are reserved for the two houses behind.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
