tanner + teague is a retail concept store in the heart of Fitzroy's Brunswick Street precinct.
Our t + t apartment spans the entire top floor with it's own separate entrance. Beautiful windows, stripped floorboards and natural light. Literally on the doorstep of all that Fitzroy & the inner north has to offer- incredible coffee, delicious food, unique stores & boutiques, stunning gardens, eclectic bars and nightlife, plus only a few blocks to the CBD!

Perched high on the vibrant and ever changing Brunswick Street, the Apartment at tanner + teague lends a truly unique perspective on the heart of the uber cool Fitzroy.
Tonnes of natural light, stripped floorboards and handsome arched windows are combined with contemporary and industrial style furnishings. A well curated collection of prints and homewares will impress the design conscious traveller or staycationer- that's if you can pull yourself away from the stunning views of the Melbourne skyline!
Featuring 2 Large Bedrooms, each with Queen size beds, luxury pillows, feather down duvets, and quality linens. Plus wall to wall wardrobes, plush carpet, and city views. Bedroom 1 also includes a stylish mid-century desk/workspace.
The main open plan living & dining area (immediately adjacent the kitchen) enjoys ample relaxing space on its generous modular lounge suite, plus a large dining table with seating for 8+. Not to mention the stunning views over Fitzroy to the city- incredible at dusk!
Our fully equipped kitchen houses a well stocked pantry, complimentary refrigerated necessities, plus all the kitchenware you could need to whip up breakfast, lunch or dinner. While the euro laundry with washer and tumble dryer also includes cleaning and laundry products for guests staying a while longer.
Through the hallway the apartment opens up to another sitting room/3rd bedroom to the rear which boasts 2 mid century style sofas and Smart tv, and yet more wall to wall storage. Plus both sofas fold flat to become beds, one a small double and one a large single. When in use, these are also dressed with memory foam toppers and full bedding/linen.
Located off the separate dressing room area, the bathroom is sleek and simple with shower, WC, large basin/vanity and heated towel rail. A second powder room/WC is located off the rear courtyard on the ground floor.
Whilst staying with us, you are virtually on the doorstep of all the Inner North's most famous stores, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and bars. Take a short walk or tram to visit the spectacular Melbourne Museum (12mins walk) and Royal Exhibition Building (14mins walk), the glorious Carlton Gardens (12mins walk) or a plethora of local art galleries and more. We are also conveniently located within moments from 2 supermarkets, a huge chemist, wine store, 7-eleven, newsagent, and post office.
Our tanner + teague Concept Store on the lower 2 floors also houses a small wine bar with outdoor seating (and respectable closing hour of 6pm) so guests can take full advantage of the space while enjoying a selection of local and international wines.
Families can relax and spread out in our two generous living zones, and guests with little ones will be pleased to know we have an array of baby/toddler gear including high chair, baby bath, travel cot with linen, plastic cups/plates/cutlery and toys and books. Plus a great local playground is a mere 8minute walk through quiet neighbouring streets. The Melbourne Museum provides both indoor and outdoor entertainment for little people.
Guests are supplied with their own keys so you can come and go as you please.
Check in is 2-3pm unless an earlier/later time has been arranged with us prior. Suitcases can be dropped off prior to 3pm check in, and securely stored if need be.
Late check outs (post 11:00am) can be arranged with prior notice, and where bookings allow. Again, we are happy to store bags/suitcases post check out to enable you to explore the neighbourhood for as long as possible.
If your flight arrives later than expected, we can accomodate late night arrivals.
Our apartment is located on the 3rd floor of an historic building. It is accessed via an external staircase. There is no lift access. However, if needed, we are equipped to have your luggage taken upstairs on arrival.
We have 1x Visitors Parking Permit which we are happy for guests with cars to use during their stay. This MUST be returned to us at check out. If the permit is lost or not returned, $100 will be retained from the Security Deposit in order to cover the replacement cost of the permit.

We are happy to assist our guests with their stay in Melbourne. Be that with recommendations, or insider knowledge. Just ask and you shall receive!
Other things to note
The price per night is based on up to 4 guests using the 2 main bedrooms. If your booking is for 3-4 guests but you will require the use of the sofa beds, we do charge an extra $40 per sofabed. This will be added to your booking once details are confirmed. Groups of more than 4, the extra person(s) charge will cover the cost of sofabed set up so no further charges will be applied.
Our apartment is well stocked with baby and toddler equipment including;
foldable travel cot with topper mattress, cot linen, baby bath, bathroom step, highchair with removable tray, plastic dinnerware, cutlery & cups
-We ask that guests respect our neighbours by keeping the volume down as much as possible when entering or exiting the premises after business hours.
- STRICTLY NO PARTIES. There are plenty of awesome bars and clubs in Fitzroy all within walking distance from our apartment.
