We have no direct neighbours. Across the dyke road is the river and the karst mountains are nearby. The village with little grocer shops, workshops and repair shops is easily reached walking or cycling about 1 km.
You can see the Pagoda Rock which you can access to the top by stairs and visit the big cave and pagoda underneath.

In addition to my favorite people, my animals are important to me: dogs, cats and geese. Gardening in nature, making music and listening to anything from Bach to world music. I sew and knit and love good food. When I travel, I like to be with friends whom I can be at home in time and who show me their environment. Our guests should feel like at home but unlike in their own home they are relieved from the daily housework and are provided with service and care. We set up our guest rooms as I would like to live. With the means and artisans who are at my disposal, I try to work creatively. A motto of mine is: No fear, no envy, no meanness! Ein Motto von mir lautet: No fear, no envy, no meanness ! (Liam Clancy)

During your stay
We are permanently living on the site and will be available for you to your liking. We share the meals and will be here for a chat or make some music in the evenings if you like to. We introduce you to our Vietnamese friends and neighbours, learn about their lives, tell them about you and pay visit to their homes in the village. Sabine will look after you, organize guides and transport or take you on a bikeride on little streets to the Ancient Capital and into the UNESCO complex. We take you out for a dinner in Ninh Binh town to eat and drink with the locals, even karaoke afterwards, if you like to experience this noisy Vietnamese enjoyment.
