My accommodation is perfect for families (with children) and large groups. The living spaces provide both intimacy and conviviality. Gallargues is an ideal starting point to enjoy all cultural, culinary, sporting and farniente activities that the region offers.
This beautiful house has been in my family for over 400 years! It has been kept generations after generations up to me. I have invested heavily in renovation work and I am very happy to be able to share it with you.
With a surface of about 180m2 on 2 floors, the house has an accommodation capacity of 8 people (possibility to add children and I offer a baby bed): 4 spacious bedrooms (1 on ground floor, 3 on first floor), 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, large space with living, dining room and modern kitchen fully equipped, vaulted room (to relax!), laundry, courtyard with big terrace and parking for 3-4 cars.
Gallargues is an ideal starting point to enjoy the activities that the region offers:
20 minutes from the white sandy beaches of La Grande-Motte (modern architecture), typical fishing port of Grau-du-Roi, Port-Camargue marinas
Gallargues is a halt on the Way of Santiago de Compostela, on a hill between vineyards and “garrigue” (typical landscape and vegetation of Mediterranean regions with smell of thyme, rosemary, laurel, ...), and offers many possibilities for hiking, cycling or mountain biking, or, of course on horseback. Let’s not forget that the village is located in the heart of Camargue
A fishing pond in Aimargues (10 minutes)
45 minutes from the gorges of Herault river where you can practice canoeing, kayaking, climbing, via ferrata, ...
You can also access the Cévennes, for magnificent landscapes, beautiful walks in all seasons.
The Gallo-Roman heritage awaits you at the gates of the village with the city of Ambrussum and its Roman bridge, but of course in Nîmes and its amphitheatrev(20 minutes), Arles gate to Provence (40 minutes) and the famous Pont du Gard which offers a breathtaking sound and light show (45 minutes)
All breeding traditions and bullfights endemic to the region, including release of bulls in the streets!
The city of Aigues-Mortes, its city walls (15 minutes), the visit of the Salins du Midi (extraction of sea salt and, with a little bit of luck, a beautiful sunset with pink flamingos)
The medieval city of Sommières and its local markets (10 minutes)
Montpellier, its lively pedestrian center, perfect for restaurants, shows and shopping (25 minutes)
Interaction with guests
I live abroad and will not be able to receive you in person. However, my parents live a few meters away and know perfectly the house as well as the area. My dad lived in this house during his childhood.

Possibility to add a baby bed
