A light and very spacious double room with private ensuite bathroom in a newly renovated detached house on well-known Warwick Park Road. We are within walking distance of The Pantiles, Old High Street and Nevill Ground and a 15 min walk to the train station. The house is spacious with a large open plan kitchen dining space, so you can easily relax and feel at home whether you're a couple, solo adventurer or on business. Free car parking is available directly outside the house at all times.
My son recently renovated and extended our home, so it is all very new, but the house maintains a traditional character from the outside.
He has now gone off travelling for a year, so it is myself at the property and I have a daughter in her late 20's who visits.
There is a second lounge which you are welcome to use as additional private space, as it is never used by us due to the large open plan kitchen. You can watch the television here or just relax.
Your room is also very large, so there is plenty of space to hang out there, with a sofa, desk and television.
We have a very friendly dog called Berty and from the 1st October we will have a friends dog also staying. He is quite large! but extremely soft and friendly. You will have your own set of keys to use during your stay.
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, make tea and coffee, have a shelf in the fridge if required and use any spices/condiments. We have two lounges, of which we only use one, so you can read or watch television in the second lounge. You will have your own key to access the house and come and go as you wish. Please note it is a shoe free house, thanks.
Interaction with guests
I am available to collect guests from the station should they need a lift, make you a cup of tea/coffee, give tips on what to visit both in and out of town and generally be of help in anyway I can!
