Welcome to Dove Cottage where you’ll discover a special slice of Australian history! Our cosy 1850s stone cottage blends old-world charm and modern comfort, with slate and timber floors softened by warm rugs, a welcoming fireplace for cool evenings and plush beds for a restful night’s sleep. Beyond the walls nearly an acre of gardens and paddocks offers space to relax before discovering the heritage and beauty of this region.

INSIDE THE COTTAGE:
Prepare meals with ease in the fully equipped country kitchen with modern appliances and a dishwasher. A generous farmhouse breakfast is provided for you to enjoy at your leisure before heading out to explore. On crisp afternoons, fire up the barbecue on the patio and enjoy the golden light of the country sunset.
THE SITTING ROOM:
A peaceful, intimate place to relax. Light the woodfire (firewood supplied), pour a glass of local wine and truly disconnect from the world.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS:
• Two spacious bedrooms, almost like suites, each with a queen bed dressed in Belgian linen
• Two bathrooms stocked with Leif botanical products
• Additional fold-out bed available on request
PRIVATE STUDY:
A quiet spot overlooking the gardens. Just perfect for reading or unwinding.
CLIMATE CONTROL:
Reverse-cycle air conditioning and the woodfire keep the cottage perfectly cosy through the cooler months, and comfortable on warmer days.

Step outside into almost an acre of wild, rambling gardens and paddocks alive with birdlife. You'll likely spot our resident kangaroos. It’s the perfect setting for a morning coffee stroll or a slow afternoon soaking up the country air.

The whole cottage and its gardens are yours to enjoy. Parking is available on the property down the pebbled driveway, and self-check in is simple with our lockbox -arrive and unwind on your own schedule.
Other things to note
Some of the doorways sit lower than modern homes, a charming reminder of the Cornish miners who built this cottage. Please mind your head as you wander through.
