I stayed one night at Radhika's place when I was visiting Bhaktapur for the week-end and I keep a good memory of my stay. Radhika was welcoming and caring. I had a really nice time with her. Thanks to her I tried some traditional Nepalese dishes and even learn about natural remedies for a cold. A part from that the room is spacious and well located, it's just a few minutes from the center and it's easy to catch a bus from there to go back to Kathmandu. Thanks Radhika, wish you all the best

I spend a week with Rhadika and it was really great. I had the chance to walk in Durbar square area with her and one of her sisters during the nepali new year event. She's a very generous and helpful host. I could not imagine a better place to meet locals and share good time with. I like my experience here and hope to visit her and her family some day.

Radhika and her family are extremely welcoming and helpful, and we've enjoyed the best food of our entire stay in Nepal! One thing to know is that the bathroom is shared and like most places in the country, hot water will only be available in the afternoon, provided it's a sunny day! Highlight for us has been having access to the kitchen to cook our own meals but Radhika's cooking is always a blessing! Great location, right outside the gates to the old town. We're very happy to end our almost 3-month stay in Nepal with such a warm and friendly Nepali family!

We are so glad we booked this Airbnb in Bhaktapur as our main stay for a brief trip in Nepal. The main host, a very welcoming Radhika, was such a pleasure to meet; she was so interested in us and eager to please us at all times. Her authentic home cooked meals were consistently delicious and always abundant! She helped organise our transport to and from her place plus she was kind enough to personally show us a local temple on a hill with an incredible view. The room itself is clean, spacious, includes a balcony and has a fascinating view of the authentic earthquake-recovering Bhaktapur right from your window (don't worry- Nepal's earthquakes are once every 80 years). Also, make sure you get a chance to enjoy an even better panoramic view from the nice rooftop sitting/eating area at the very top of the building, we weren't so lucky with the weather but even with overcast cloud, we could just make out the Himalayas in the distance. Radhikas place is a stone's throw from the entrance to the old town where everywhere you look is a 'photograph'. I loved seeing the 'offering to the gods' goats casually lazing around outside the temples during the day - but then again I generally love goats. Anyway we highly recommend Radhika's place for an enjoyable, memorable all-round Nepalese experience!

The important stuff: Very clean, and the location is amazing. This suite is right down the street from the gates to old Bhaktapur (where all the major temples/sites are). The kitchen was spotless and equipped with all the usual cooking utensils. Bathroom was clean and had a western toilet (if that's important for you). Lots of space in the actual suite as well with two large beds, sitting chairs, coffee table, and a nice balcony overlooking the city. The really important stuff: We stayed just two nights here, but in that time Radhika and her son put so much effort into making sure we were comfortable. They were always laughing and smiling and we could tell they were so excited to have guests. They continually asked if they could do anything else for us, and made sure we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We highly recommend this suite. Due to the friendliness of Radhika and her family it has been one of the most memorable places we've stayed at here in Nepal.
