Welcome to Sambar Ridge — your own private hilltop retreat set across 450 acres of sweeping pasture, native bushland, rolling hills and endless open skies.

Here, life slows down. Mornings begin with mist drifting across the paddocks and evening fade into golden sunsets and star- filled skies.

Whether you’re gathering with family, reconnecting with friends, or simply craving space to unwind, Sambar Ridge welcomes you with warmth, calm, and the simple luxury of the country done beautifully.

The space
We’ve created Sambar Ridge as a relaxed, peaceful farm stay and ask guests to help us keep it special for everyone.

Who can book
The primary guest must be 25 years or over and remain on-site for the duration of the stay. Sambar Ridge is best suited to mature, respectful groups.

Peaceful retreat vibes
Sambar Ridge is all about calm, connection, and nature. It’s not suitable for parties, events, or celebrations.

Registered guests only
Please ensure all guests are included in your Airbnb booking. Only registered guests may be on the property.

Quiet country nights
Quiet hours are 11:00 pm – 6:00 am. Enjoy starry skies, fresh air, and the sounds of the countryside.

Tank water living
The property runs on tank water, so we appreciate mindful water use during showers and laundry.

Septic-friendly home
Please use the toilet paper provided to help keep the system running smoothly.

Pool time, safely
The pool is enjoyed at guests’ own risk. Children must be supervised at all times, and please keep glass away from the pool area.

Smoking is welcome outdoors. Please dispose of cigarette butts thoughtfully and responsibly.

A pet-free sanctuary
As much as we love animals, Sambar Ridge isn’t suitable for visiting pets. The property is home to resident dogs and abundant native wildlife.

Respect for the land
Hunting and shooting are not permitted anywhere on the property.

Leave only footprints.
As waste services are limited, we kindly ask guests to take excess rubbish with them when departing to help protect the environment and wildlife.

Love the space as your own.
Please treat the property with care. Any damage or excessive cleaning may be charged in line with Airbnb policy.
