Some info has been automatically translated.
Our cozy cabin is located in the peaceful neighbourhood of Kabayama Village, very close to the lively Ski Resort of Hirafu.

You’ll love staying at our place away from the hustle of Hirafu and only 200m walk to the FREE Hirafu shuttle bus stop looping every 30 mins from 8am - 8pm (there is a couple of breaks in service during the day).

It's a great place for couples, friends or families. We have another two listings available all next door to each other, if travelling in a bigger group.

The space
Our one bedroom cabin is a cozy oasis, your home away from home. Nestled amongst the white birch trees in the peaceful Kabayama Village with glimpses of Mt Annupuri from the front door.

Please note the cabin is not located in Hirafu Village (to access Hirafu Village & the Mountain, you'll have to get the free shuttle bus which is 200m walk from the cabin or you can walk into Hirafu Village (1.7km).

You can enjoy a home cooked meal in the small kitchen (no oven - stove top only) or relax on the couch with a glass of wine after a big day on the mountain.

The entire cabin is 38 sq metres in size. It isn't huge but can comfortably sleep four adults, it has a queen size bed and oversized 110cm wide bunks.

The cabin allows for you to have the whole space to yourself & have the convenience of amenities like a kitchen and bathroom - a small wet room (small bath & shower) and a seperate toilet.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire space which includes the bedroom, separate bathroom (small bath & shower), toilet, living, dining and kitchenette (open plan living areas).

What is in the cabin:
- Small Fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, gas stove top & grill
- Cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, cooking utensils, pots & pans
- TV and Fire stick
- Washing machine and clothes drying rack
- Clean linen & towels
- Hair dryer

Other things to note
Parking is available and free but you will need to be flexible & cooperate with the snowplow driver who keeps the roads clear for us, so we can access the cabins.

If you have a car, you will need to move your car when the snow plow driver comes at around 10am each day. You can move it to the pink house to the left of the T intersection at the bottom of our road. It’s a small price to pay for an epic powder that Niseko receives almost on a daily basis.

Please note that the snowplow drivers can start clearing the snow on the roads very early this can be a little noisy as you can imagine. If you are a light sleeper we recommend wearing ear plugs.

Where you’ll be

Kutchan, Hokkaido, Japan

It's a quiet neighbourhood only minutes by bus/car from the lively Hirafu Village. There are several great restaurants within walking distance and a lovely cafe/deli, a favourite of ours to grab a coffee and croissant. The bus stop is only 200 metres from the cabin at The Orchard's bus stop.

The NUS (Niseko United Shuttle) bus, is free with an all mountain lift pass. It is a great service that can get you from each side of the mountain and also into Kutchan.

The closest convenience stores are in Hirafu Seico Mart which has a Hot Chef and lots of great prepackaged meals that you can reheat or eat on the run. Lawsons is another convenience store is a little further down the road but operates 24hrs.

There is an international ATM just outside the entrance to Green Farm Cafe (which is located under the Shiki hotel).

The closest bigger town is Kutchan (30 minutes on the bus) you can visit a Japanese Supermarket (this is always a fun experience), Hospital (has a interpreter available) and Chemist.

In Hirafu there is Niseko Physio if you need to access a Physio during your stay, it is run by an Australian so all staff speak english. They also have massage therapists if you tired body needs a massage after days of riding powder.

Lives in Niseko, Japan
Hello, we are Steve & Amy. We have two gorgeous sons. Steve & I first travelled to Japan in 2012. We fell in love with the people, the mountains and the food. We love snowboarding and especially the powder riding that Niseko delivers every season! We loved it so much we decided it was the perfect destination to get married. Now we hope to help others enjoy their stay in Niseko as much as we do.
