Other things to note

This is our home and not a hotel.

There is reverse cycle air-conditioning (both cooling and heating) in the house. The first bedroom has it's own reverse cycle air-con as does the main living area. If you leave the door open to the second bedroom, the air-con will be able to reach the bedroom and cool or heat the room. There is also a fan in the second bedroom. This house is a relatively new build with good insulation so the temperature inside will remain constant and you should be quite comfortable.

Occasionally we may change a few cushions or small decorations, but everything else in the house should look and remain exactly the same for your stay. If this will be problem, please let me know in advance and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.

I always do my best to accommodate your preferred arrival and departure times.

The arrival and departure times listed here allow us enough time to get everything in place for you. Times outside of these windows can be arranged in some circumstances -- please enquire about this in advance of booking if the standard arrival and departure times don't work for you.

1. Please no smoking in the house or on the deck, or lighting non-enclosed candles.

2. Please no house parties which I define as any gathering of more than four people. I want you to feel tranquil when you come home for the day, so I do my best to keep it relatively clean and tidy. Please help me by doing the same.

3. Please avoid being excessively loud.

4. Please turn off the lights / air-con when you leave the house to conserve energy.

5. Please don’t try to set-up a WiFi account, or DSL internet on your personal laptops. Only use the WiFi account login information that is provided.

6. Please take your shoes off when you are inside the house (the front room is our “shoe” room).

7. Please make sure you separate your garbage into the appropriate garbage bins (general and recycling).

8. Please be sure to empty the garbage and fridge of any old food often.

9. Please be sure to tidy up prior to check-out and leave things as you have found them.

10. Only guests who have a completed profile or have been positively reviewed will be considered for booking.

Vivian's home was impeccably designed - it's also a lot larger than the photos show! Extremely secure, airy and comforting, it was a great space to come home to after a day out. I loved the bedrooms and bathrooms - beautifully comfortable beds, large bathrooms and fresh linens all ready for us upon check in. It was amazing to wake up to this home and just take in the quiet of Perth before getting ready for the day. Even though the house is next to a major road, the noise is acceptable since Perth is generally quiet in the night time. The kitchen is modern and filled with anything you might need, from a nespresso machine to the large fridge - the hosts were kind enough to fill it with some supplies upon check in as well. Large TV, plenty of dining and hang-out spaces. Driving distance to a major shopping mall (one my faves: garden city) and near to the jetty in Applecross! Definitely would recommend for small families and small group travellers - you'll love it.

The space is a luxury. Our kids had plenty of space to run around, including a backyard. Location is great, only minutes from Garden City mall. The place is new and well furnished. Water pressure was good and warm water come on quickly in winter. Aircon heater was good, and washing machine and dryer all ok. Garage parking good too. The owners are friendly and attentive. The courtesy drinks were awesome. During the trip, the kids broke an item and the owner was prompt to settle the issue with us fairly. The only thing to watch for is that the master bedroom is in the front. As the house is along Canning Hwy, some traffic sound is expected. To note for light sleepers. Overall, it was a great place for us!

The inside of this property is quite faultless. Vivian and Raymond are fantastic hosts and the house itself is very very nice. I would recommend a stay here without hesitation. NB the house is located on the highway but it is a short walk only to the banks of the lovely Swan river. Loved our stay. Would definitely recommend.

The home will not disappoint. The house was very clean, linen excellent and beds clean and dreamy comfortable, house well maintained/equipped. Gorgeous decor and secure parking. All the essentials supplied and more, five star! We would highly recommend this accommodation, just lovely.

Thank you so so much to Vivian and Raymond. We had a wonderful stay in their beautiful home. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The service was fantastic, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and we enjoyed every minute. We didn't want to leave! We will definitely be using them again. 10/10 all round!

Modern and comfortable house with great location. Close to Garden City Shopping Centre and other eateries. Vivian was prompt and accurate with her communication too. Our family enjoyed our stay.
