Some info has been automatically translated.
Set on an historic 24 acre farm, we offer a fully refurbished, 2 bedroom self contained cottage. Included in the tariff is a delicious continental breakfast including homemade granola, homemade bread, jams, peanut butter, Vegemite and orange juice.

We are close to everywhere! 90 minutes from Corner Inlet, Wilsons Prom & the snow at Mt. Baw Baw, 60 minutes from Tarra Bulga National Park, 5 minutes from the Grand Ridge Brewery and its restaurant and bar - and light years away from stress!

The space
Recently renovated, our two bedroom cottage offers you a welcoming, comfortable and private break. Only the best quality linen is used, and the beds are oh so comfie. Wake to a beautiful view out the window, overlooking the magnificent established gardens, the abundant fruit trees, and the sheep in the home paddock. If you stay at the right time you’ll see beautiful lambs playing cheekily!

We are 2 ½ kms from Mirboo North and so you can pop into town for a coffee, meal or a drink and be home quickly. That said, you can sit on the deck and watch the Milky Way blind you at night, since we have little light interference from any township of size. Listen to the frogs croak in our creeks, hear the foxes calling late at night and owls hoot in the still night air.

Guest access
You have exclusive use of the cottage, set in our 2 ½ acres of gardens and two permanent creeks. We are close by in our house, ready to answer any questions re your stay or the area. We will not disturb you but rest assured, we are just a call way if you need something.

We will supply full directions of how to get here and if by chance we’re not home will give you the code to the key safe.

Other things to note
The farm is a lifestyle/hobby farm but nevertheless a working farm. We'd ask that you supervise your children closely when outside the cottage, especially where animals are involved. Please do not access paddocks unless you have spoken to us first. Our sheds and house are private and we expect you would respect that. We will keep our noise to a minimum as evening approaches and would ask that you do the same. We do not allow parties or events in the cottage.

Neighbourhood highlights

Mirboo North is a special place. The rolling hills, green paddocks, cows and sheep everywhere and friendly locals mean we have been blessed moving to this town. 2500 people are our neighbours and there are more than 67 community organisations registered in Mirboo North. So the people here are friendly, resourceful and independent.

It's a farming community first and foremost, with a rich tradition of immigrant nationalities settling here to make their life, from the late 1800s to today. Tractors on the road, stock on the road, trees down in bad weather, friendly waves as you pass all of this as part of the Mirboo North experience across a year. You'll feel alive again after a weekend here!
