The space
Fairweather sits perched above Little Taylors Bay. With private beach access down through a track in the garden, to a very remote beach below. This cosy coastal retreat is nestled into a private bush setting and offers breathtaking sea views right outside your door.
The considered interiors offer a sanctuary of comfort and ease. Simply styled with natural fabrics and low-tox /organic supplies for a healthy, restorative experience.
Bedrooms & Bathroom: The house comfortably sleeps 6 guests. Wool and latex pillow options, wool quilts, organic cotton coverlets.
- Bedroom 1: Queen bed
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed ( accessed through bunk room or via back deck)
- Bedroom 3: Two Single bunk beds with stairs
- One bathroom, natural supplies
- Laundry with additional toilet (accessed via back deck)
Kitchen & Dining:
The fully equipped kitchen is designed for easy cooking with a beautiful view overlooking the water and across to Satellite Island. It includes a Smeg fridge, Smeg electric cooker, full size oven, dishwasher, hand made ceramics, and other essentials.
Living room:
The living room is a cozy and inviting space to unwind after a day of exploring. Linen sofa, comfortable chairs, wood fireplace, concealed tv, window seat, dining table with 6 chairs, lots of reading material and french doors open to the veranda, garden and sea view.
Outdoors & Beach access:
- Seating area on the veranda overlooking the bush and sea.
- Outdoor camp kitchen, BBQ area and dining deck.
- The property offers a private track to a remote beach below.
Location:
Located just out of Lunawanna, Fairweather offers a wonderful sense of privacy and seclusion with the water right in front of you. You will be surrounded by nature, with lots of visiting native wildlife to spot during your stay.

Guests have access to the entire property and stay in the main Cottage.
Other things to note
A car is required to travel to Bruny island. There is only one refuelling depot on the island so fill up before arrival. The last ferry to the island is at 7pm and they restart at 6:30am. Timetables and more info can be found on the Sealink website.
We highly suggest you gather all your food & supplies before heading on to the island. There is only one small general store in Adventure Bay (20 mins away). Once you have booked we will send through our local guide book with suggestions on where to dine & gather supplies for your trip.
