Very standard, clean, and spacious room. Just steps from the heart of the town. Militello is bustling on a Saturday night and we enjoyed sitting in the park and watching the families and couples have fun. It was helpful to be so close because we could walk everywhere without a car. I was most appreciative of Rita calling ahead to reserve our restaurant for us at Pachua's. You need this help on a busy night and the restaurant will recognize the B&B and will be kind. It was absolutely delish, affordable, entirely authentic, and "the place to be". I wish we had dressed up just a bit more rather than wearing our clothes off the airplane. Rita and her partner are so kind and laid back - very eager to please and make sure you have a nice stay. The breakfast was lovely (a spread of the Italian favorites and juices to choose from) - Rita made me americano with milk, made to order. :) We also enjoyed a coffee on the patio mid afternoon with Nico (their kitten) and the two turtles who act like playful puppies. They were a highlight for us with the language barrier as the playing and the laughter brought us together for some fun. Though both Rita and her partner are also great at English! We are bad at Italian. :( The other huge help was Rita arranging the car company transport from Comiso at 9pm at night and then to Catania airport at 11am on check out. We tried to book a hired car but it was extremely expensive and we only had time to see Militello on this trip. There is a fridge in the room full of free water both still and sparkling. This was very helpful after an international flight! I hope you enjoy a stay at the B&B and the small town of Militello! A great place to stay!
