Richard very kindly picked us up as we didn't have a car. Very spacious place with several other people staying with who we shared a meal and a few drinks with. The house is surrounded by lovely countryside

Great place to stay, big ol' original farm house with big rooms, comfy beds, big cozy lounge, and friendly owners. Close to Giz and beaches and all sorts 👍🏻

An older style house about 20 minutes from Gisborne City. Very clean. We were the only guests and did not have to share bathroom facilities. It appeared that with more guests these would have to be shared. A very pleasant andpeaceful place to stay.

Richard is a perfect host. We had a great night in a beautiful and large room. A delicious avocado soup he made for us for diner and a very nice breakfast outside next to the beautiful garden... Thanks again!

What a wonderful setting. Good value and an attentive host. I highly recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice and strawberries from the garden at breakfast time! (Obviously dependent on the season)

Quiet rural location but handy to Mahia, Gisbourne and beaches. Also close to Milton and Wrights (organic) wineries in particular. It’s an old house with some quirks but makes a good value stay in a lovely region.
