A spectacular warehouse conversion designed with a Vintage theme in mind, It's the epitome of 'urban chic' positioned on the famous warehouse strip of Melbourne’s renewed suburb of Collingwood. The Oxford offers total privacy, with authentic industrial details, beam and truss ceilings and New York style loft / warehouse ambience.

Original warehouses like the Oxford are very rare in Melbourne and it offers the ultimate ‘Melbourne Experience’ while being within walking distance of the MCG.

The space

Heading through the front door you step into the huge open plan with kitchen and living area with double height + ceiling. Exposed brick walls decorated with original artwork sit beautifully next to the comfortable deep sofa which provides an additional sleeping option if required. Relaxed earthy dining area with lovely plants and natural light. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one on a mezzanine level, with Super comfy Queen bed plus an additional fold out couch bed. The second bedroom is seperate with a comfy Queen bed. Main bathroom has a spa bath, plus there is a seperate powder room/ toilet downstairs. Features of this unique property include original timber floors, quality linen and bedroom comforts, antique fittings, vintage and boho furnishings and modern styling. There is the option of on street parking with a Permit (provided).

2 minutes walk to Melbourne’s famous Smith St Restaurants, Cafes, shopping and nightlife.

Easy walk (or tram) to the nearby MCG and event centres.

2 minutes drive to Melbourne’s trendy suburb of Fitzroy.

5 minutes drive to Melbourne’s CBD.

Other things to note

Collingwood is a very creative and lively area. If you are looking for a quiet neighbourhood this is probably not the best area for you.

Fantastic area. Awesome couch and layout of the property. Looks a bit grunge on the outside but a pleasant surprise. We walked to mcg and all of Luke suggestions were fantastic. A bit of development is happening around the area but the noise was not too bad at all.

Just had a very pleasant 4-night stay! Booking was straightforward; check-in was spot on with thorough, detailed instructions and welcome freebies! The apartment was a WOW as expected, you can feel the attention to detail as you go around the place, from hand soap to towels and bedding-- to shampoo! Beds were comfortable, water pressure is sooo good and I love the fact that you have access to a dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer! There's so much going for this place, very stylishly decorated. Pleasing to the eyes, making our stay all the more fun. So close to everything-- city via tram, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, very pleasant walks! With Proud Mary literally just around the corner on Stanley & Oxford, there is no excuse for coffee lovers to miss out on the experience! All in all, from booking to check-out, 5 stars for us. Thank you very much Luke!

Great central location. Our bridal party were able to take pre wedding shots at the apartment. Luke was a pleasure to deal with from the day we booked the apartment and was flexible with us having a later check out. Thanks Luke!

Great place to stay Luke was helpful and accomodating,we booked with short notice so a little on the dusty side could have a bit more attention to cleanliness in toilet downstairs.

This place is AMAZING!! Luke is an incredible host! Was ready to help us out with anything we needed at the drop of a hat! The location is great, easy access to trams as well as a coles and woolworths. So many good food options nearby, and a really cool area to stay in - while still being easy to access Melbourne Central! Would 100% come back here again, this place was a dream!
